I get the feeling this Uncle Barky guy doesn't like Tegna....

Also, it's only May 25th. Shouldn't the sweeps still be going?

Yesterday was the last day. Sweeps always starts early to avoid Thanksgiving and Memorial Day

KFMB wins across the board. Here's a pic from the AM #'s from KFMB anchor Dan Cohen:

On a side note, I think this is the first time that one of the station's talent shares the ratings numbers publicly, this way. Usually they will give a generic "Thanks for making us #1, etc.", but this time they actually are posting numbers.

On a side note, KGTV and KNSD seem to be battling it out for #2 in the mornings. KNSD in particular is lagging, and this despite making some anchor changes last year.

Ed is one of the best TV writers in the nation and, for petty reasons, WFAA management repeatedly refuses to respond to his inquiries. This has been going on for years. In fact, in a recent post, Ed claimed the ND allegedly contacts the TV writer at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram whenever he emails her asking to verify something he's heard. She apparently will talk to them since WFAA and the paper are news partners. Certainly doesn't seem very professional. Of course, WFAA is under fire for paying an interview subject in a recent investigation, so ...

At KBEX TV we finished sweeps without any injuries or arrest...

Dan Dan the Transmitter man swept out the clinkers and mouse crap behind the equipment racks...

Traffic Tanya learned she is NOT pregnant this time....repeat NOT pregnant...

We got our mordida paid up and current....

Our KBEX news team requested an EXCLUSIVE interview with someone very important...we hope to here back soon on that...

All and all it was a good ratings period.

Everyone gets a participation Ribbon!

Looks like WBAL won 4:30 - 7:00 AM, 5:30 - 6:30 PM and 11:00 - 11:35 PM based on a recent promo. The noon news for the past few cycles has been a sore spot for them. The fine print was "NSI LPM LIVE+SD FINAL MAY 2017 SWEEP DATA MON-FRI, HH". I forgot HH refers to the total ratings right? I imagine they won the demo as well.

HH literally stands for households.

HH literally stands for households.

I realize that. It just means it was the most out of all the stations in the market that have LPMs right?

Apologies I am just a little foggy right now.

The most interesting takeaway from this is that all of the stations are hemorhaging viewers in the 25-54 category.
