rkolsen 1675 Posted August 31, 2016 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Starting September 1 there will be a new news channel in France dubbed FranceInfo. franceinfo: is owned by France Télévisions, Radio France, France Médias Monde, Institut national de l'audiovisuel. I don't speak French but here's the channel's website. The channels slogan translated into English is "Colon, open info". Here's a link to the YouTube live stream which is nothing but a barker channel. Not sure if it will be geoblocked when it launches. The morning program is "6 : 09h30" meaning that its from 6:00-9:30am, which must mean that franceinfo's broadcast day starts at 6:00am Paris time/12:00 Midnight Washington time.
