Months after signing off Sabado Gigante Don Francisco has joined Telemundo News as a correspondent. Don Francisco signed a joint production contract with Telemundo to develop and produce programs aimed at US Hispanics and international audiences in a variety of platforms. He will also join Telemundo as a senior news correspondent.

Don Francisco, whose real name is Mario Kreutzberger, is 75 years old and as previously mentioned hosted Univision's Sabado Gigante for 53 years straight - 30 of which have been based in the United States. Sabado Giganted was cancelled by Univision and aired his last show in September.

He stated he's “at disposition, am open to doing whatever they need from".

You don't know how big this is. People, especially latinos, loved watching him. When he comes back to television, everybody will be moving their watching screens to Telemundo. My grandma used to attend one of his tapings to Sabado Gigante.

Well Telemundo did say they wanted to do a "Sabado Gigante" type show around the time of SG cancellation... And now you got the the host and he is saying he is willing. Earth-Shaking News in Latino TV? Well see?

Well Telemundo already does sorta similar to Sabado Gigante. It's called... Que Noche! con Angelica y Raul.
