KMID's Massive Overhaul

The set design and graphics package are pretty much the same ones that originated on sister station WFXR when it launched its news department two months ago. In fact, Nexstar relocated KMID to new studio facilities like it did with WFXR/WWCW.

Given they also did these kinds of massive infrastructure and visual upgrades at WATN a couple of years ago, it shows that when Nexstar wants to overhaul a station, they apparently will make a bigger investment than usual.

They used to have a Chevy Chevette for a news car. BIG 2 NEWS....on a tiny little car.

I saw it while hitchhiking on I-20.

A Chevette? For a newsgathering vehicle? How long ago was this?

Back when Chevettes were new...Yup they shoved a fullsize tripod and 3/4in gear into that.
