Bell Media president out after making CTV News censor the CRTC's chairman

Yes, it makes sense in context. Basically, it seems like Kevin Crull really did not like the CRTC's decision to require television providers to offer a la carte options by March 2016 (Bell also owns satellite and U-Verse-esque IPTV services). So he allegedly forced CTV News to not show footage of the CRTC's head Jean-Pierre Blais whilst covering said story, and made them cancel an interview with him.

 

Presumably, he didn't want Canadians to be exposed to any talking points/propaganda regarding pick-and-pay that was not created by a division of Bell Media.
