...and Houston....we have Sinclair-ization in Harlingen taking place!

But being a former Barrington station, will any of us outside the Rio Grande Valley actually be able to see the debut via a live stream? These stations are so poor off, even die-hard TV people like myself are kept in the dark by the crappiness of their web efforts...

I'm fairly sure Televisa Noreste beat KGBT in running HD news.

No, they don't stream.

Looks like Sinclair-ization is taking place at KTUL.

False alarm. They were just using KOKH video.

Can confirm, the only real changes at KTUL so far, outside from ROH and Armstrong Williams, has been the replacement of Paul Turner last week with a new, younger sounding VO.

The graphics and use of Eyewitness News stay the same.

KTUL has been using Eyewitness News? At last check, it was Tulsa's Channel 8. Eyewitness News hasn't been used in Tulsa since 1987 when KOTV discontinued using that name for the now famous... The News on 6.

Armstrong Williams is apparently making moves with his new station in Charleston.

. With this, does Sinclair retain the branding for ABC News 4 on WCIV?

I got my money on either ABC Lowcountry or ABC Charleston

Maybe it's been mentioned, but KVII in Amarillo seems to be really close to debuting the new package. Their creative services YouTube page just updated some IDs with the new look and theme, along with an updated logo and branding. ProNews is out and replaced with ABC 7 News, though their Wikipedia page states that the branding already changed earlier in the year.

And with it will be the end of Hello News (the NMSA says that KVCT in Victoria still uses it but I'm not so sure about that).

They absolutely butchered Hello News, though. Listen to their opens on the NMSA.

I don't think Barrington really gave much thought to what music packages were on its stations. Most of their stations had SAM packages until the SESAC ordeal, and I think it was just a matter of the stations having any music, regardless of the package. If they put more time into thinking about it, KVII probably would have had EWN or something else, but certainly not Hello.
