WBOC-TV, the CBS/Fox affiliate in the Salisbury, Maryland market was recently the victim of a cyber attack, their website and Twitter page was modified with ISIS propaganda, by a group known as "CyberCaliphate", the same group that also compromised the US Central Command's Twitter account. This isn't technically a "hack" since they didn't get into their servers.

They must be one of the stations that shares their login and password with everyone. They should use HootSuite or a similar service where the station has an account but can give reporters the ability to post through a second account. Using this method keeps a sense of security where only those who need to can actually change the account settings. Plus HootSuite allows the station to send out one message to multiple sites like Facebook.
