The only thing I'd do differently is installing a larger monitor (or two) or video wall in the weather center and I'd add another monitor on the wall immediately perpendicular to the anchor desk. It's a shame they didn't add an extra wall or a better standup / multipurpose area to the set. From following time lapse video it looks like they could of fit one in as the studio appears to be decently sized. [yt]MBZAyt7dWLo[/yt] But it appears money is a bit tight at the station as they are using Grass Valley robotic PTZ cameras mounted on cheaper tripods (and not easily movable pedestals).
