But even if DirecTV had WeatherNation TV during the dispute, I think viewers would have still wanted a LIVE 24/7 weather channel, instead of WeatherNation TV's continuous pre-taped coverage. And when major severe weather events happen, DirecTV could've been super screwed, thanks to no access to TWC. That's why they probably wanted The AccuWeather Channel to launch sooner rather than later, in which the "later" part is what were up to now since it's taking forever to launch the channel.
