PIX has been pretty bad in that department since they changed format, when Jim and Kaity were replaced. They must have cut on the behind the scene staff, or the bright people left PIX 11. "Every Story Hits Home" sounds like the slogan for an actual respectable news organization, not one that covers "ad overload" at a sports arena. I watched the first portion of tonight's 10pm election coverage, and I must say, it looked and felt like a legit newscast. Stanford still seems a little wet behind the ears, but Fadal is really thriving with a co-anchor. As for the content, this was clearly a no-frills, to-the-point broadcast. Perhaps it was a little basic, but it was a complete departure from the product they were putting out just months ago. It's going to take time, but I'm rather impressed with the new new new WPIX.
