I would think Don would be their first thought but I don't see him as a morning person. I personally think the smartest move would be to move Chris Wragge to mornings and noon with Mary and put Don at 6 with Dana again. Chris has a morning personality, Don has a hard news personality. Its so outrageous, it really is. Why couldn't he just control himself? He was such an awesome morning news anchor for WCBS and now he may have just thrown his entire career and probably his life in the trash can if he's accused. Its only a matter of time now... Heidi Jones from WABC also a criminal did do a lesser offense and she was terminated immediately this is more severe for Rob and WCBS so he's gonna be gone.. He will be fired because this story has spread across America already and I won't be surprise if this become a story on the national morning shows tomorrow. No offense to the Morrisons, that statement sounded like something a PR person created for them trying to down play the incident. WCBS had the anchors doing the money watch segment today. Ms. Morrison was not treated for any injuries, though the police said officers observed red marks on her neck consistent with being choked." That does not sound exaggerated to me. While I understand it is a personal matter the problem is both of them being on TV makes it a public matter and domestic abuse creates a bad pubic image for Rob and WCBS. Sounds questionable though because 1) it's the Post and 2) he's been an anchor in NY for 15 years, and only on alleged dispute #10 it hits the papers... Greg was never arrested and was only accused with absolutely no proof of anything happening.. Rob Morrison was arrested and there's more than enough proof. He's finished. As far as replacement, maybe they'll take the PIX11 Morning route and pair up 2 women, like Cindy Hsu and Mary? I know Cindy did mornings noons in the early 00's, maybe time to rekindle that.
