tyrannical bastard 3444
WTVC in Chattanooga, TN is in the midst of going HD with a new set, and with this transition, has picked up the latest incarnation of the standard issue Sinclair graphics. Since it was one of the stations purchased from Freedom earlier this year, it is the first station Sinclair has picked up to overhaul under their ownership, since many of the recently acquired Newport stations underwent upgrades and changes under Newport's ownership. Video of the set demolition (and a taste of the Sinclair graphics) can be seen here: http://www.newschannel9.com/
bhratbrat 423
Loved the Freedom theme they had. Going to miss it unless they are allowed to keep it with Sinclair changes
tyrannical bastard 3444
They're still using the theme music, but the news graphics are all the Sinclair stuff. Weather is still the old package. I imagine it's all going to change when it's launched in HD...or whenever the contract on the music runs out. What we're seeing here is the slow transformation of the newer Sinclair stations. In the meantime, if it ain't broke......
