615 Music updates "Impact" to Version 6

Playing off a post from tw-804 in the "No Emotion Box", 615 Music/Warner-Chappell released a newly updated version to the long-running "Impact" theme. A theme that has been widely used and commissioned since the early 1990s, this would make the 6th update to this long-running theme. Taking a note from the orchestral sounds of v.4 and v.5, the new theme has been given an edgier sound with more guitars and brass, giving it more an aggressive feel than the previous two versions. It breathes new life into this aging signature, and is probably the greatest update to date in my opinion.

I like it. WTVF in Nashville is using it. Here's the video of the new open (that was in the "Video Thread: 2000-present") from October 23rd in case anyone missed it...

The theme actually goes well with the open, which I'm surprised kept some elements of the previous open on account of WTVF having just been sold to Journal Broadcast Group (which uses a standardized package for many of its stations) about a month ago.

I'm not a big fan. I think they should have pulled the five notes followed by the bumper.

If anything I like V.3.

I think v.6 sounds a little too busy/cluttered. It sounds like they keep taking the same package and adding more and more instrumentation onto the top of the existing recordings.
