24994J 5269 Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Lauren Jiggetts, 5-year vet of NBC 5, is now co-anchor of the 5 and 10pm weekend newscasts with Dick Johnson. Apparently, her work at the Olympics impressed management and sealed the deal. She will continue reporting during the week. This is the first weekend anchor TEAM since Stafford and Davlantes parted in 2009. I've grown to like Lauren over the last few years, and Dick is always at his best with a co-anchor, so this sounds like a win-win. 24994J 5269 Posted September 6, 2012 Author Share Posted September 6, 2012 Well, until a few months ago, they had an anchor "team" - Lisa Parker on Saturdays and Dick Johnson on Sundays.
