  1. Gray is buying KDLT from Red River Broadcasting for $32.5 million. This will give them a duopoly with KSFY in Sioux Falls. http://www.tvnewscheck.com/mobile/index/article/id/113255
  2. WLBT/WDBD’s newscasts have moved upstairs to a temporary set while the studio lightning grid is replaced/upgraded. They normally use the newsroom for times like this, but various posts on social media show a newsroom refresh or remodel currently underway. Hints were made to more changed in coming weeks. New set? Maybe. Refresh? We will see! The set they have was was installed in 2012 and refreshed in September/October 2015

Oh boy..... http://www.baltimoresun.com/business/bs-bz-sinclair-anti-trust-lawsuit-20180801-story.html I don't know why it was filed in Illinois, but Sinclair and Nexstar are (or were) owners whose stations carried their ads (most likely WPMI and WKRG) The other groups seem out of place, but they all own (or will soon own) stations in nearby New Orleans...
  4. Last year Gray debuted a new website design on KMVT's site (shortly after Gray acquired the station). Since then Gray has been SLOWLY rolling this website design to their other stations. This is an update as to which stations have the website layout so far : WBKO, KWTX / KBTX, WTVY, KKCO, WHSV, WKYT / WMYT, WSAZ, WTAP, KOLO, WSAW, WAGM, KOSA, and KCRG
