  1. Overnight, BBC News debuted new graphics using the network’s new custom font, Reith. It first appeared on air during the 9am (GMT) newscast on the BBC’s domestic news network. Local news has also received an upgrade, while the BBC’s morning show will debut its version of the graphics Tuesday morning.
  2. This is a very interesting story about a day in the U.K.'s TV Licence court. For those poor folks that can't dole out about 13 pounds per month...or about $9 Dollars. How would you like to go to prison for watching the BBC? The comments are pretty funny too... https://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/sep/24/in-court-non-payment-tv-licence-television-desperate-cases
  3. You can bet these puppies will be airborne during the royal wedding. G-SKYN and G-TAKE are both operated by Arena Aviation of the U.K. G-SKYN is an AS 355 ( an A-Star) In these first shots we see G-SKYN with it's retractable onmi-directional microwave antenna in the operating position mounted on the skid. The antenna does not retract on its own. Unless you hit the "retract" button you may just land on that antenna. Both airships have pretty basic looking set-ups. A gyrocam and a single transmitter only. No "bounces" or "hops" with this system...just your basic live TV pictures and not much more. G-SkyN on the pad. G-SKYN in the air... And now for the BBC ...G-TAKE Same basic set-up from the same FBO (Arena Aviation) Some video of G-TAKE.. And if the French show up....God forbid! It's Pepe LePew! freaking Frenchie has 2 cameras ! Show off ! Happy Flying!
