  1. At last, it's my turn to create a news coverage thread! We know that the Classic 3 networks will devote all of primetime to the midterms, as well as most of late night, so now comes the time to ask, what special coverage will your local stations be doing, if any?
  2. Holy smokes! WBAY, which doesn't change packages often, just debuted new graphics today on their Noon newscast. Their previous package was only about two or three years old. Here are some screeen grabs from their Noon and 4 p.m. newscasts today. Not totally inspiring, but not the worst package I've ever seen. I still think WGBA has the best graphics in the market, closely followed by WFRV.
  3. Channel 7 announced it on the 4pm that they're expanding the morning show to 4am starting Monday. Sister station WPVI announced earlier that they're also expanding to 4am starting Monday as well.

  5. Radaronline reporting Elizabeth Vargas is leaving ABC after 22 years.
  6. Longtime morning anchor Lori Stokes is leaving Channel 7, after 17 years.
  7. This story crossed the CNS wire overnight. Q: Will KABC run this story tonight? Disneyland Geese Date: 06-09-2017 11:33 PM - Word Count: 101 Disneyland Geese ANAHEIM (CNS) - A flock of geese flying over Disneyland tonight caused quite a stir when they defecated on a crowd of people, prompting a hazmat response. It was initially reported that someone had thrown human feces on the group, said Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt, the reason a hazmat team responded just before 9 p.m. The group of 17 -- 11 adults and six minors -- were on Main Street when the incident occurred. ``It was clearly goose poop,'' Wyatt said. No one was injured and the guests were able to clean themselves off, Wyatt said. CNS-06-09-2017 23:33
