  1. good morning football is probably gonna be on WRDQ or WRBW here, likely the latter because their morning schedule changes every year and we’re fox O&Os in an NFC secondary market. the way our scheduling has gone lately tho in this market, it’ll probably end up on WFTV.
  2. things are sliding back a full 10+ years in orlando. starting monday 2/12 on WKMG: - entertainment tonight (which has ceased to be tonight at this point, unless they plan on telling the future or what they think will be that night’s entertainment) and inside edition are gonna be on at 9/9:30am - Drew Barrymore is on at 3pm (again. it was already at 3pm in September) - but now it’s the full hour - 4pm is a full hour of news again - after 13 years, news 6 at 7pm is over. the series finale is tonight at 7pm. apparently they are relaunching 6:30pm news albeit online. ET and Inside Edition will be at 7/7:30pm - the first time the CBS O&O schedule format has ever been used here. The 1:37am inside edition repeat is gone for good. WESH indirectly changed the entire flow of things here in orlando.
  3. welp we got a wild change coming in down here in Orlando the 9am news on WKMG is….gone. entirely. no warning or anything. just gone after 6 years. the Drew Barrymore show is now on at 9am for a full hour (the third timeslot move it’s had since WKMG got the rights in June). entertainment tonight now has 2 runs (for the first time since WESH/WKCF split runs in 2013 I think it was) at 3pm and 7:30pm. news 6 takeover remains at 3:30pm. the 1:37am drew barrymore is back to inside edition. only change coming out of Orlando so far. everybody else has settled in to their schedules
  4. if modern family actually leaves the FOX O&Os, that’s the end of WRBW’s comedy block after well over 15 years down here. that is wild. also CBS has over 70 years of televised available content, nearly 100 years worth of paramount (and the companies paramount bought out and merged into over the years) content, and over 30 years of late night programming ready to air at any point in time. they chose…..a low rated, unfunny comedy series that hasn’t had a singular new episode since craig ferguson was hosting the late late show. just give 12:37am back to affiliates at this rate.
  5. alright, the weekend came and went. time to post the stuff we got here in orlando: WESH: no changes unless the 9/9 run of world chase tag is syndication and not NBC getting a contract WKMG: entertainment tonight weekend is gonna, for at least week 1, be on at 12am (12:05?) Saturday nights WFTV: seems heartland is on Saturdays now unless it’s just for that week. the equalizer is gonna be on there and WRDQ - no idea where magnum PI went. WKCF: weekend runs of the newly acquired sitcoms were available. also more byron allen is coming - FAST: home rescue on Sundays WRDQ: for at least 9/16 they have a late night sitcom block running against WKCF’s. other than that everything is changed around college football. also they got chicago PD from WOFL/WRBW WOFL: no changes. after football season tho some of the WRBW shows might get runs there WRBW: the listener is finally cleared here in orlando - Sunday nights for the time being. they lost chicago PD. also livenow from FOX gets a 2 hour run on weekends. forensic factor is back in this market too - moving from WKCF to WRBW. so far this appears to be where we enter a break in the changes - nothing seems to be changing here the week of 9/18. onto next weekend and the week of 9/25
  6. alright, time to talk about WAXN but orlando - otherwise known as WRDQ. relative justice seemed to get quietly removed from syndication - tbh it quietly got into syndication in this market, we didn’t have it at all in season 1. anyway 27 is now home to 3 hours of byron allen’s court shows that have real litigants. eboni at 10am, lauren lake (moved from WKCF) at 11am, judge mathis at 12 noon (the old judge mathis remains on WRBW) schedule is the same it was last year till 5pm. last man standing comes over from WKCF in that hour. everything else is the same till 8:30pm - the other court cam run is here. VERY random run of iCrime at 11pm (black-ish seems to not be cleared this season. but my provider and TVPassport are saying two different things) - and everything else is the same. that is the end of the changes for 9/11. see y’all Saturday for the off network weekend updates and how wkmg - known for their 7pm weekend news - is gonna handle entertainment tonight weekend compared to WESH.
  7. boy do we got a story for you in orlando if this is accurate. some of this is from TV passport, others from my cable guide - subject to inaccuracy and changes. we’ll know these for sure when 9/11 gets here. WESH - we knew something was leaving as a result of 7pm news. the entire schedule is the same except the 7pm news - they elected to keep access hollywood at the same time it’s always been. WKMG - way to reverse everything that’s happened in the last 15 years! let’s make a deal is back to 10am. they seem to like their extremely random drew barrymore acquisition. it goes from 10am-3:30pm. the news 6+ takeover moves from 5:30pm to 3:30pm. inside edition is back at 4:30pm - this time with WKMG in a much better news state than it was last time. entertainment tonight has moved here at 7:30pm. guess WFTV didn’t want to join their sisters. WFTV - same shows except it’s just 1 iCrime run - this time at 9:30am instead. also they stole all of hot bench from 27 - full hour at 10am. they had a chance to get ET, they chose….court cam. whatever makes overnight ad sales I guess WKCF - dr phil moves here after 11 years on WOFL. seems in this market, once you get dr phil, you’re stuck with him for exactly 11 years. he’s on at 4pm - also they have the Big Bang theory at 7. just as it was before. millian’s new show is at 10am. WRDQ - we’ll discuss later. literally WAXN but Orlando right now. WOFL - dropped dr phil. got all the fox game shows from 1-4pm. also person, place, or thing is on at 7. WRBW - morning game show block, also the talk and court blocks flipped. corrections: drew is on at 3pm, not 3:30. also waiting till tomorrow comes to post the WRDQ changes. it cuts off at 8pm on my cable. spoilers: it’s byron allen HQ and a long standing WKCF show is now in WRDQ’s lineup.
  8. alright we have some stuff going on in orlando now WESH: either ET (which has been on at 7pm for at least 15+ years now and has been on WESH in the 7pm hour since 1981) or access hollywood is going….somewhere may only be as far as wkcf. but they’re starting the 7pm news wars here. their own 7pm news will be going against WKMG’s decade old news starting 9/11. the rest of the schedule should be the same, we’ll find out when 9/11 gets here WRBW - they lose the Big Bang theory after 12 years. it’s (supposedly) moving to WKCF. anyway they’re flipping the court block and talk show blocks around…at least the week of 9/4. judge judy also moves to 7pm as a lead in to the 8pm news. WKCF - allegedly was getting the Big Bang theory on Labor Day but the schedule on tv passport shows the same it’s always been. quiet opening to September. things will be a lot different when everything starts on the 11th.
  9. very random syndication update far south of where WIS is - welcome to here, orlando: the drew barrymore show has moved from WKCF to.....wait for it.....WKMG. first 2023-24 change of the year, 3 months before the tv season starts. rachael ray has moved to 1:37am where it'll stay till all stations lose it. this is the first WKMG syndication change in 6 years and their first time picking up a new show since crime watch daily in 2015. also their first time taking a show from another station in well over a decade. WKCF has expanded we the people with lauren lake to an hour as a result. this is also our first time getting both half hours of drew. only signifigant change here so far. will keep you posted the closer it gets to september
  10. unsure why my post wasn't approved??????? But time to try this again. still a quiet 2023-24 season (that new talk show's gonna be 3am filler in many markets) , but good news for 2022-23. Nearly all the shows got renewed - my guesses is iCrime and ring nation are done. ring nation should of been done after week 1 - iCrime at least gave WFTV/WRDQ good filler where I live (still think WOFL stole jennifer hudson from WESH at the last second - our syndication moves here dating back to July seemed to show that wftv was clearing a wide open slot for tamron hall to move to). as for cancellations this season - the biggest one so far is Dr. Phil. Where those reruns go will be interesting to see. i think some stations such as WSOC will drop the reruns and get 4pm news/
  11. update on our friends in atlanta: because of a singular election going to a runoff 3pm news stays - georgia seems to REALLY want political ad money. also tamron and Kelly switched up there - wsb might permanently adopt 3pm news at this rate. might be a similar situation here in Orlando in a few months - something has to be done about wftv’s cw-tier lineup. don’t think 3pm news is the answer for any of these markets though. only major change in any of these markets right now. the 2022-23 season has comfortably settled and we have no news on new shows coming in 2023-24 yet
  12. looks pretty good. also if this holds true, the revamp saved drew barrymore and all the talk shows will be back next season only shows that look like they’re getting off the air after this season are ring nation (almost certain at this rate) and iCrime (the fact it’s a mainstream show on WFTV is crazy), in addition to whatever sitcoms are leaving next year
  13. welp…does not look like Ring Nation got cleared here in Orlando. At all. also over in Pittsburgh tvtv.us appears to show wpxi backed out of airing it, but tv passport says they’re gonna have it at 3pm. only blatant clearance on either site is WHIO in Dayton, weekdays at 10am (probably because they can’t rely on reruns of justice rules for the entire tv season) not even New York City seems to be clearing ring nation.
  14. No word on Ring Nation being cleared in Orlando - I guess WFTV/WRDQ’s switcharounds are their final state right now. TV Passport shows nothing. pretty sure it’s the first show out this season alongside icrime anyway - maybe next year WFTV/WRDQ can actually push for another talk show at 10am/8pm.
  15. second attempt at this again. some new stuff in Orlando: apparently storm of suspicion and weather gone viral are moving from WOFL/WRBW to WKCF. no idea why or when that was confirmed but that's now starting this weekend. Highway thru Hell also has been replaced at 4am on WRBW with Justice with Judge Mabalean (which has bounced around a comfy 12pm slot for the 2 years leading to this). highway thru hell is apparently no longer cleared here in this market. no word on what's going on with WFTV/WRDQ the week of 9/26 - we gotta do something. we're running 4 episodes of iCrime a day here right now. the current schedule is really off with these stations and so far ring nation has not been cleared here in Orlando at all. (speaking of cox stations, our friends in Atlanta apparently got 3pm news out of nowhere and now Tamron Hall is on at 1:37am there....that'll be a fun topic next TV season's thread.) as for WOFL/WRBW….Nick Cannon is finally gone on 9/26 and MyNetworkTV starts at 11pm that week.
  16. second attempt at orlando weekend posts! not sure why the other one wasn't approved but that's out of my control. WESH - nothing. bucs shows from WFLA Saturday nights still, Access Hollywood Weekend Sunday nights. WKMG - no changes either. graham media must runs on Saturday nights when needed. Inside Edition Weekend remains on Sunday nights at 11:35pm. WFTV - The Good Doctor comes to Saturday nights starting 9/19 (signifigantly out of order due to the conners and the abc fall preview, and then Jeopardy and WoF). castle is gone. Magnum P.I. on Sunday nights, followed by Heartland (the other Sunday run is apparently gone from wrdq) WKCF - The Rookie on Saturday afternoons replacing the former weekend The First 48 reruns. sitcom block starts at 4pm now due to american housewife. sitcom block time changes are same as the weekends - Saturday nights at 4am are now sos: how to survive (weird and random clearance for orlando to get at that time). sundays are S.W.A.T. - now at 3 and 4pm, and 9-1-1 at 5 and 6pm. orlando apparently has decided that macgyver (previously at 4pm weekends) isn't something this market needs to see. but we need 7(!!!) episodes of young sheldon on weekends. WRDQ - managed to pick up WOW: Women of Wrestling. also home to some of the runs of TGD/SEAL Team/Magnum PI. The schedule is gonna vary every weekend since for some reason they're airing college football now. possible home of macgyver when orlando finally realizes someone needs to pick it up. WOFL - no weekend changes except Dateline weekend runs are gone due to the overall move back to WDRQ after just leaving WRDQ in 2020-21. WRBW - still home to 2 of Orlando's 3 weekend movie blocks. no other changes other than the Sunday sitcom constantly moving times and the sitcoms that are leaving syndication this year leaving in their respective weeks. many of these changes begin September 17 and 18.
  17. gonna bring a new market to this thread - orlando. these are weekday changes - might post weekends later? idk WESH - the kelly clarkson show at 3pm starting 9/12 (tamron hall remains at 2pm. I guess they backed out of getting our rights to Jennifer Hudson? Was a huge window open for WFTV to take Tamron and their lineup is paying for it. ) WKMG - no changes. not that they ever want to spend money on syndication except the 2 shows they currently have WFTV - the early exit of Judge Jerry and loss of a chance at Tamron makes this lineup weird. rightthisminute got replaced with just for laughs gags at 9:30am on 9/5, and is being replaced with Hot Bench on 9/12 (which I assume is a placeholder for ring nation.......if it even gets on the air.) also kelly clarkson isn't being cleared in Orlando this week - don't ask me how that's possible. any 10am is now 2 of many Family Feud runs this week on WFTV/WRDQ. 3:30pm is still Family Feud/Jeopardy as it has been since 7/26. on 9/12 10am is gonna change to iCrime. WKCF - obvious drew barrymore cut to 30 mins at 10am (we're not clearing the second half hour). lauren lake moves in at 10:30am. Maury slides to 11am until Karamo on 9/19. 2 Steve blocks at 12pm and 3pm as Jerry moves to 1pm, second Maury at 2pm. American Housewife and the Neighborhood at 4 and 6pm hours, The Goldbergs moves to 5pm. Mom slides to the midnight side of the comedy block. WRDQ - relative justice FINALLY gets cleared in Orlando at 10am. game show block is officially dead - Chicago Fire and SVU at 11am and 12pm. WFTV news repeat at 1. Dateline moves back (I guess last season's move to WRBW was a last second decision) at 2pm and 9pm. Sitcom block stays put at 3pm-5pm. 5-7pm is doing a bunch of random placeholders and stuff - Family Feud remains at 7 and 7:30. ICrime at 8pm. The First 48 moves from CW18 weekend slots to WRDQ weekdays at 2am - many of these changes are happening 9/12. WOFL - Sherri/Jennifer at 10/11am, no other changes except Pictionary at 2pm and Nick Cannon at....11:35pm, a late night talk show of sorts until it finally leaves the lineup. judge judy remains at 4pm till someone realizes these are repeats. WRBW - judge mabalean's 2 year clearance in Orlando ends - at least this week. no extreme changes except Sherri/Jennifer at 3 and 4pm, Nick Cannon at 9pm, and the sitcoms slated to leave this season will leave. did not mean to bury half the page with my list but this is what's happening in Orlando.
