What setup do you guys use for the ATSC 3.0 audio? I have an HDHomeRun 4k but it looks like Plex and even VLC are missing the codec. It looks like channels is able to decode it, but I don't really want to pay a subscription service for it when it's not doing anything particularly well for me other than the ATSC audio.

Our local station WSMV has their own personal radar, but I'm unclear about the benefits of it. It seems like the only useful product you can get out of them is BR, which I mean is better than nothing, but in terms of being able to analyze the storm faster and see if it's rotating or not, it looks like you're better off using the WSR88D for the data.

It looks like TWC has had a bit of a security incident earlier today. I'm curious what your guys thoughts are on the reaction from the FCC or TWC themselves. It might be the final nail in the coffin for the local on the 8s as we know it, but only time will tell.

I find it interesting that our market's Gray station WSMV is broadcasting it's ATSC signal with our sinclair station as the primary. Is this typical for OTA broadcasts? I feel like our sinclair station is pretty neglected compared to the others, but perhaps that's the case with most FOX affiliates.

Yeah I agree, it doesn't look particularly exciting. I just hope they didn't spend too much money for it.
