  1. Karen Rogers is officially the new meteorologist for Action News Mornings. https://6abc.com/karen-rogers-6abc-action-news-mornings-meteorologist-matt-odonnell/11019541/
  2. Like I've said before WPSG got a double run of it at 6a. They also have Scene of the Crime and Forensic Justice airing in the 7a slot; the four shows replace infomercials. I have no idea what any of them are, except for Balancing Act (a Lifetime morning show).
  3. How do they have a jump on Days? Y&R starts at 12:30p, Days starts at noon. EDIT: Nevermind. Forgot Days airs at 1p in most cities.
  4. They're a CBS O&O. I don't think they would do that.
  5. Kelly Clarkson is in New York City for her third season premiere. Her in-studio audience is back, as well.
  6. No - I didn't know about it until about 11:30a, so all I saw was the reading of the names. However, one thing to note - they used Look N graphics for the names of the victims. It's probably because it takes a while to write out 3,000 names, so they didn't redo it with the new graphics. I wonder what it would look like with Look S.
  7. WNBC aired live, local coverage. I know because it was simulcasted on LX.
  8. PHILADELPHIA SYNDICATED CHANGES - FALL 2021 PART 1: NEW SHOWS First run - weekdays Nick Cannon - Noon on WTXF (FOX - Fox Television Stations; starts Sep. 27) You Bet Your Life - 7:30p on WTXF (FOX - Fox Television Stations; starts Sep. 13) Relative Justice - 2p and 2:30p on WPSG (The CW - CBS Television Stations; starts Sep. 13) The Balancing Act - 6a and 6:30a on WPSG (The CW - CBS Television Stations; starts Sep. 13) Scene of the Crime - 7a on WPSG (The CW - CBS Television Stations; starts Sep. 13) Forensic Justice - 7:30a on WPSG
  9. Why the laughing reaction? What's funny? Lol.
  10. Not in Philadelphia. WFMZ is airing it Sunday mornings at 1:30a and 4a; I thought WPSG aired it on weekends, too, but I guess they got rid of that. Also - are NCIS and NCIS: NO leaving syndication? Currently, they air Saturday from 8p to 10p on WPSG, and Sunday from 12:05a to 2:05a on KYW, but those runs will be replaced with CW Primetime, SEAL Team, and Bull, respectively.
  11. The NBC O&O's are moving her to Ellen's 3p slot in 2022, so I'm not sure. Speaking of that - what's going to air in the 2p slot on the O&O's? I think there were plans for a Tiffany Haddish talk show.
  12. Why? The previous design didn't (I don't think). Although it's better to have a ticker, I personally think it looks better without one.
  13. Lauren Casey did weather yesterday for the AM and evening newscasts, as well as tonight’s news; chief meteorologist Kate Bilo appeared this morning, interestingly.
  14. WPSG will get MacGyver Saturdays at 5p starting the 18th. Major Crimes moves to 4p, pushing Monk to Sunday at 5p only. WPHL gets S.W.A.T. Saturdays at 3p and Sundays at 1a. Currently, a movie airs from 2p to 4:30p Saturdays, so I don't know how that schedule will change; the 1a run replaces Cheaters. Bull will air twice on Sundays; 1:05a on KYW (replacing NCIS: New Orleans... don't know where that moves, but it already airs Saturdays at 9p on WPSG), and 6p on WPSG (replaces infomercials; filler since Millionaire has left syndication). SEAL Team also airs tw
  15. I have seen it spelled both ways (not denying you, because I know you are right). I assumed it was Kramer since that's a more common last name than Kamer. I fixed my post. Thanks for the correction.
  16. Technically, Steve Kamer is already heard on KYW.... during Inside Edition. LOL.
  17. I know... this would have happened during the pandemic anyway, if it wasn't a hypothetical situation.
  18. If they really were going to produce a statewide newscast, they would probably use generic graphics (since it wouldn't make sense to use Steelers colors in Philadelphia). They could use a different voiceover, too, if they needed to.
  19. I don't think The Q airs anymore. Unless they're doing new episodes in the fall.
  20. What? A combined open? Like, it had both of their logos? I think that could have been an interesting idea. However, it should have only been for one newscast (like a 7p, titled “Pennsylvania Tonight”). I wouldn’t want that for every newscast, though. It is definitely sad they had to do that. Although they have had a few new reporters join recently, a lot of people have left (pretty sure three have left the industry).
  21. Someone on the Discord server brought up the idea of a station group having something similar (like Nexstar creating an app where you can stream their stations). I think that would be interesting.
  22. During WCAU's 11a show I saw a promo for their daytime lineup using Look S, but promos for specific shows still use Look N graphics.
  23. WFMZ in Allentown will begin airing Highway Thru Hell in the 3a slot on September 7 (assuming it enters syndication on the 6th). Currently airing in that slot is Forensic Files and Justice for All. Doesn't appear to be airing in Philadelphia, though.
  24. WPSG gets Relative Justice at 10a and 11a; Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court and Supreme Justice currently air in those slots. UPDATE: WTXF will be airing You Bet Your Life at 7:30p (against Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and The Goldbergs...). TMZ currently airs in that slot, with a second run at midnight; they could probably push the primary run to midnight, or move it back to 7p, moving Dish Nation's primary run to the 12:30a rerun slot.
