  1. I don't know why some media outlets don't have generators these days. One of the local radio owners in my town has had a few power outages, and with multiple stations, that means they all go down at the same time, sometimes for hours on end.
  2. I knew her days were numbered when she wasn't on during the election, and it wasn't her choice. I think she'll be back on TV in about a year, possibly on MSNBC.
  3. I don't know if there's even room at CNN. Maybe Wolf will retire eventually and Shep will take his place?
  4. This is not a good sign being suspended 2 times in a year and a half. It's likely he'll be fired if he breaks another rule again.
  5. Probably not a spot open on Weekdays on MSNBC, as they would have push one of their personalities to a different timeslot.
  6. This is a big loss for ESPN. He was one of the their top baseball reporters. May he R.I.P.
  7. Reminds me when Jim Cantore kneed that guy the one time during his live shot.
  8. Robb Webb, the longtime voiceover of 60 minutes and who also announced the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, has died from COVID-19 complications at 82. He became 60 Minute's announcer in the mid-90's, and did other VO work as well. I've noticed there's been another announcer used lately.
  9. Do that and that might end these disputes or make them shorter once and for all.
  10. Congrats to both Whit and Linsey! Both great choices.
  11. It looks like Tom is still anchoring weekends for now. He was on last night.
  12. I noticed the map is pretty much the same that FOX used but instead uses the Bally's name and is now red instead of blue. This is the end of an era as Fox was the name for decades, using names like Fox Sports Net and FSN.
  13. My choices to replace Tom are Dan Harris or Whit Johnson. Both are very serious and calm. I wasn't the biggest fan of Tom's delivery. A little too theatrical and dramatic for me. A friend of mine thinks David will be there as long as Walter Cronkite was at CBS.
  14. I'll probably record it.
  15. This is very sad. Larry was popular for years and was CNN's biggest star for a long time. He's been through so many health issues for a few years now, including COVID, that I'm not surprised. I wonder if CNN will do a tribute tonight. R.I.P. Larry.
  16. Even though he's been part-time since retiring from the NN chair, it's still the end of an era none the less. Maybe he will have a big social media presence like Dan Rather has.
  17. GMA seems to be using the same usage that WNT uses. Over the top dramatic reporting.
  18. I agree that this is sad. This shouldn't happen at all.
  19. I wonder what will now be shown on TV's where the CNN Airport Network used to air?
  20. G4'S audience doesn't need cable or satellite. Some of NBCSN'S audience does. G4 would make a great live stream for YouTube.
  21. 40 years? I can't believe it. Jeff will likely stay there a long time, maybe as long as he was on WTVG.
  22. I think we should create a new thread for NBCSN's potential shutdown.
  23. Nice to see Jeff back on the air. Hopefully he has staying power, as WTOL has struggled with a bunch of different anchors over the past few years. Diane and Lee will still be anchoring for a while on WTVG.
