  1. New set debuted today. Looks pretty much the same, just a modernized version of its old set. They got rid of the weather center and green screen and replaced it with a giant monitor.
  2. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but it appears that meteorologist, Rick Dickert, is no longer employed with FOX 11 after serving 30+ years. According to his Linkedin profile, May was his last month with the station and has been removed from the station's website. It also appears that reporters Travis Rice and Jessica Oh are no longer with the station and are also removed from the on-air personalities page. Neither of them has publicly addressed their departure from FOX 11.
  3. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what will happen with the KCBS-2 news set now that they're using the new set for both channels?
  4. KTLA debuted its new set today on the 3pm show. No new graphics and no more green screen.
  5. Hopefully. I know they launched new graphics the day their old set debuted. Wonder if they will stick to the orange and blue theme.
  6. According to Sam Rubin's Entertainment report today, 11/10, he said the new set is approximately two weeks away and that it is now in "testing mode" with stand-ins. He shared a sneak peak of the set, and by the looks of it, it's a very tall set.
  7. KTLA will probably debut the new set at the end of the month. Hopefully the set is unique and does not have the same layout as KTLA's past two sets.
