700 Club is no worse than that waste of space, The Talk on CBS. CBS should've let that show die ages ago. It'll never be The View no matter how hard they try.

I can't see WPCW being dropped. KDKA-TV has always been one of CBS's strongest stations. Having a second station is beneficial for additional news and sports programming and to place pre-empted cbs shows when necessary.

Powers comes to Pittsburgh from Washington, D.C. where she has worked at Sinclair owned WJLA-TV (7). In addition to Washington, Powers has also worked at stations in California. She has a master’s in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University. She earned her bachelor’s at Marquette University in her hometown – Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Powers says she’s admired Pittsburgh for years and is looking forward to calling the area home. She is also looking forward to getting involved with local charities. She will be on the air beginning in late June.

Probably not, IIRC Judy and CBS didn't part on good terms. That's why CBS decided to "screw it" and just cash in on decades of reruns, figuring the casual viewer wouldn't notice anyway.

WPXI either doesn't like KC or it performed poorly at 1pm. I could see Ch 11 picking up Sherri Shepherd as that will be spiritual successor to WW.

Jenkins was very good but she probably was just filler until a "name" was available like Star Jones. Look how many hosts Family Feud burned through between Richard Dawson and Steve Harvey. The show finally found stability again with Harvey and flourished, the same could happen to Divorce Court with Star Jones.

Maybe they'd want to be different.

Last year CBS added a note to their 90s stinger, now ABC takes away a note from their late 90s stinger.

Is Kelly Clarkson's show not popular? I see WPXI in Pittsburgh is moving her to 3AM. For awhile it seemed like Ch 11 wasn't going to air the Judge Judy repeats (they always won 4pm) but it seems like they chickened out and will carry the repeats at 3pm moving Days to 1, its been at 3pm here since the mid 90s.

During SmackDown, WPGH ran numerous spots for Dr. Oz moving Monday at longtime old 10am time-slot.

Re-enactments of court dealings used to be the standard for court shows like the original Divorce Court, Superior Court and The Judge. Its cheaper to film court transcripts, which is what I gather these court shows do. Also, Funny You Should Ask is awful but its basically Hollywood Squares. Also, Jon Lovitz was great back in the day.

Old news but I just learned this now that KDKA-TV revamped their morning news as 'Your Day Pittsburgh' from 4:30-7am.

Correction: CBS Evening News airs at 7pm.

I figured. I always liked how kd would traditionally say 'stay tuned for (name of show here)' at the end of the newscast. Many other stations don't bother, its a nice touch. I'm shocked they didnt have the 6:56 adbreak last night. That used to be a big ad revenue spot, especially during the PA lottery years and kenny ross. I guess with current world events the ad sales aren't optimal.

KDKA-TV seems to have eliminated the 6:57 intershow break between the news @ 6 and CBSEN @7. I'll have to see if they still have the 12:27 break before young and the restless.
