Good Morning Britain will not air next week due to rising COVID-19 cases. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/gmb-cancelled-good-morning-britain-itv-b1979893.html

Today's London game on NFL Network has CBS graphics and commentators for the game and FOX graphics for the halftime show.

Looks like a rip off of the WBAY logo.

That was all I could think of when they said that on CBS Mornings. I can't wait for Gayle King's Top 10 Lists to debut.
-
The lower thirds look like it should be called "CNN Mornings." Especially when there's breaking news and the orange turns red. Also, my local affiliate still has the wrong time zone and wrong weather on the ticker.

I liked it the first time when it was called CNN Pipeline.

Hey Scripps, I have a million dollar idea for you. Acquire all the WI Stations and do the following: New Newscast - Wisconsin Tonight (6:30pm) - Yeah, I know. You've tried it before and it didn't work. Now you have 3 markets more worth of stories to tell in 30 minutes. Make it a deeper look at stories from across the state. Anchor it out of either WTMJ or WKOW. Model it after KARE11's Breaking the News. Make sure it's not just a Milwaukee/Madison-focused newscast. Air it state wide. Replay it on the sub channels at 9:30pm. Merge "Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend" with "TMJ4 Today Saturday/Sunday." Add the new newscast to WGBA. Or, if you deem Milwaukee too important for a shared newscast, just do this to WGBA.

I'm curious to see who gobbles up the WI stations. The amount of stations that would need to be divested made me think Gray wouldn't have been a good fit, but obviously they saw things differently.

I liked the part where the F-Bomb was broadcast on a cable channel for children. I'm surprised they didn't air the game on a 7 second delay.

https://cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com/2021/01/11/cnn-announces-new-washington-based-anchor-roles/ The most notable change: The Situation Room becomes an hour-long program. Is this the beginning of the end for Wolf Blitzer at CNN?

I re-listened a few times and agree it's not the same voiceover artist. I'm not sure if it's the microphones they use, but both voiceovers sound very... flat? Lacking a certain warmth in the quality? Does that make sense?

I want to say it's Peter Dean, who is credited as the voiceover for WEAU in Eau Claire.

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion
hfiles replied to ABC 7 Denver's topic in Corporate Chat
They must have changed it back recently. It was still cached on my computer as the old logo, but when I right-clicked, viewed image, and refreshed it changed to the Circle 3.- 3565 replies

One has to think it's to split the workload between KPIX / KCBS, so as not to overwhelm the KCBS staff.

It looks like CBSN is running taped programming right now. Isn't "Red and Blue" with Elaine Quijano usually on at this time?

WLUK debuted the new graphics at 5pm today. They kept Aerial as their theme.
-
I noticed that WLUK has been incorporating other elements of the new graphics package into newscasts. I'm surprised how long it's taken them to get the rest of the package implemented, and I'm curious if they drop Aerial when they do.

TMJ4 dropped the “Today’s” from their logo on Twitter.

Not going to lie. I sat here waiting for images to load before I saw your note.

Knight Rider's slightly unhinged cousin?

I wish HLN would do more non-political news as a contrast to CNN. Or that CNN would stop being so fixated on 24/7 Trump coverage.

WLUK in Green Bay appears to be the next to get the new Sinclair graphics. The weather graphics have been switched over, but the rest of the newscast is unaffected. I'm curious if WLUK will keep Aerial as their theme or if they'll end up with the standard Sinclair music.
