  1. Appears to be more of a confirmation of GrayOne coming to WSAZ, I've already been told it's coming soon from someone at the station, but it looks like they're switching from "First Warning Weather" that they have had for decades to "First Alert Weather" as seen on their 24/7 weather stream.
  2. WSAZ is on the list and will get GrayOne very soon from what I've heard!
  3. After further research it seems to be "Ascend" Stephen Arnold Music
  4. WSAZ has switched to a new music package as of today's newscasts, switching from "The Rock".. I'm not overly familiar with package names, I'm sure someone else will recognize it. https://www.vuit.com/publishers/348/wsaz#vod:23053427 They are also prepping for the launch of GrayOne soon from what I've heard but haven't released a timeline as of yet.
  5. WSAZ debuted a new logo for their "First Warning Weather" branding today. This is the first major change to the design, as they have just altered their previous logo throughout the years. This is definitely different, not sure what to think of it, what's everyone's thoughts?
  6. Interesting, I too heard from my source that they will be doing a hardware upgrade before they switch to the new graphics package. I was assuming this might be an all-new package, although ANF's package is nice too
  7. I'm excited to see what the GFX package is, I know Gray is in the works of a completely redesigned GFX package, and as others have reported this is supposedly going to be the first station to debut them. I have confirmation from my local Gray station that the new GFX package is indeed a thing and that it's not only great for Gray standards but across the board.
  8. I will also add they described it as being not only a great package for Gray standards but also compared to Nexstar, Sinclair etc in general. So, this is definitely something that's exciting. They also said it would be a complete package with a major overhaul on all the components; lower thirds, sports, weather etc as compared to what we've come to know of Gray graphics packages.
  9. I have confirmation of this as well, one of my contacts at a local Gray station said it was the best package ever produced by Gray (I understand that doesn't take much) and will be available to most stations end of summer 2023.
  10. Gray releasing a new weather app for WSAZ and many other stations, anyone know anymore info on this?
  11. WSAZ getting a new redesigned weather app soon, apparently Gray is releasing a newly redesigned weather app so possibly more station will as well.
  12. WSAZ converting an office room into a whole greenscreen room to use for sports and other things!
  13. I would like to get everyone's thoughts on adding some orange to WSAZ'S weather banners, blue is WSAZ'S, Orange is my depiction. I have been talking to WSAZ and sent them my rough idea. This is about the color, I understand mine isn't 100% like the original and the text is hard to read, it's about the color combination.
  14. Best Gray Stations weather graphics?
  15. Yes I know this isn't a good depiction but something like this would be nice, orange top banner and maybe keep the lower a blue or something.
  16. The weather graphics may be getting some of that yellow/orange all the time, I think it would be a nice fit!
  17. Update: The bug will only rotate with severe weather! What other GRAY stations have animated/rotating bugs? So I can get an idea.
  18. GRAY doesn't offer much, so they have really no option and have to use what they can.
  19. It's a nice new look for them I believe! They have a few different opens also! And the bug is supposed to have some animation, they must be having some glitches.
  20. Just saw WTVY's new Graphics Package, is it a new one? Haven't saw it before.
  21. WSAZ is getting new graphics soon, I've spoke to them recently.
