Even though I hate Sinclair, I do think it makes sense for all the RSNs to be under one or two umbrellas.

Maybe... But not Sinclair. Especially after the layoffs from the FOX RSNs. Maybe it could be refreshing for an independent company to start up an RSN. But that's just my opinion.

  2. I honestly feel as though Scripps did not think this through. There are now three CourtTV Mysteries, one on WPTV, one on WFLX, and one on WPXP. WPTV is now occasionally breaking up, even though I live 5 miles away from the tower. They added too many subchannels to WPTV, WFLX, and WHDT many of them the same network. It gets me frustrated and it's only been a day. They could have used one subchannel for Telemundo or another spanish network since the market is underserved for the hispanic community. I was actually hoping this was going to be the case but it looks like Scripps is really trying to get people to watch Mystery and CourtTV.

  3. The only problem is that Action News or Eyewitness News sounds too generic, it doesn't make the station feel unique.

Thankfully, Scripps also got rid of the orange.

ALL I want is for them to drop "Action News" and go with their generic 41 peacock logo. It is astronomically better looking.

At least they got rid of this...

Is it just me or does that L3 look like an updated version of the package that’s being phased out?

It's been like this for a few years, the only difference was they never showed the time/temp. The new Scripps lower thirds are show in the end of the broadcast, but only to State the copyright claim from Gray.
