  1. Darlene and Michael anchored the 11 this morning
  2. News 12 Westchester put up a new studio in their Yonkers building
  3. I would assume they brought him in with all the news surrounding Trump going on they probably wanted 2. I was surprised to see 7 went with Sandra solo at 11.. did they have an earlier newscast? I wasn’t around to see.
  4. I wonder if he’ll be anchoring or just reporting?
  5. News 12 Westchester is building a new set in Yonkers as well. I guess they’ll report from there instead of the newsroom until they go back to 2 anchors on a set... isn’t the Long Island newsroom/studios supposed to be relocating this year?
  6. Couldn’t agree more.. I wouldn’t mind seeing Mike take over the 5 with Sade and have Bill go back to doing just the 6&11. Would Phil Lipof come back to his old spot? Who knows? I guess it’s 2020 and anything is possible
  7. I’m sorry but an hour long newscast should not be anchored solo. I understand the pandemic perspective (and budget cuts) but in the long run I don’t see a solo an or at 5 working out.
  8. Agreed. And the “breaking news as we come on the air tonight” has got to stop.
  9. News 12 gave a bit more of an extended tribute with staff on Instagram
  10. She was a reporter for News12 Hudson Valley/ Westchester a few years back.. she’s been a few different places it seems since then.. she was always pretty good.. I liked her.. definitely stood out a bit lol
  11. Interesting.. I’m gonna assume here that either Kori picks up the 6 and then him and Tamsen do all 3 shows... or... one of the evening shows get a new team..
  12. When Mike Marza was brought on wasn’t he “anchor/reporter”? I’d be pretty shocked if he wasn’t given some sort of more permanent anchor role now that a spot is open
  13. Rosanna and Lori are both back in the studio this morning.. socially distanced of course
  14. Welp. There goes my theory as Ernies replacement. It’ll be interesting to see once everything winds down a bit what they do with the 6.. wil they go to a more traditional format (hopefully) and who will anchor?
  15. Hopefully they’ll go back to regular newscasts at 6pm.. as they have the past few months... Probably Joe Tooey (sp?) who I believe has been doing the noon and the 6 the past months.
  16. https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2020/04/28/cute-alert-lonnies-forecast-gets-special-visit-from-daughters-lily-and-savy/ perks of working from home
  17. https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/tlc-sets-late-night-series-find-love-live-exclusive-1234583847/
  18. Not sure when it started but WABC is showing World News at 7:30 instead of Wheel of Fortune.. it appears to be a second 1/2 hour and NOT a replay. David Muir made it a point to say “back on this 1/2 hour” and “NEW this 1/2 hour”
  19. So does anyone actually know how bad/ what exactly is going on at WCBS? News12 Long Island/ Hudson Valley got sent home because there was a case in the newsroom. NJ/ Connecticut took over this morning. Tonight they’re back on air in the building. 24hours as opposed to weeks.
  20. News 12 LI is being covered out of the NJ studio and Hudson Valley/Westchester is out of Connecticut (same building) one of the reporters mentioned online they should be allowed back in the LI building by 7 tonight and should be able to do the late night newscasts from the building of all goes as planned.
  21. They are showing Inside Edition in place of CBS2 News at Noon
  22. This was 100% Robs choice if not why would they have him working until April?? My question is do they take this as a time to make a few moves or do they just replace Rob? Obviously Mike will play a roll somewhere.. it would be cool to see Joe and Michelle reunite.. they worked very well together and place Mike with Sandra?
