1. Two white house correspondents in nyc every Saturday. Are they going to share a ride? Relocate to washington bureau?
2. https://www.newscaststudio.com/2019/05/29/nbc-news-now-launch/2/ The anchor blocking is tired and bland. Thought I was watching a CNBC market update for a moment when I saw the over the shoulder logo. Being an insert studio I guess you only have so many options. At least Signal utilized other NBC properties like Studio 1A or the 4th floor newsroom (similar in style to Snapchat's Stay Tuned). Has me wondering what's at work in studio 3B.
3. Eh wouldn't say it's a lot better than CBSN. I've watched a lot of the signal broadcasts and they seem to be rather dull. Awkward fumbles in and out of breaks, irrelevant interviews, and constantly changing sets. It has a chance, but would love to see actual NBC News reports repackaged. Seems like a big waste not to pull on that.
4. Should have moved her over to MSNBC. Worked well for Briwi As I said before.. Steve Kornacki is going to love his new video walls...
5. NBC News Unveils Some of Its Streaming-Video Plans and Hosts
6. Yes, they have had it since 2008. Some updates have been added such as this dreadful corner: [GALLERY=media, 1073]Cbs 12 by LivefromNewYork posted Aug 14, 2018 at 6:58 PM[/GALLERY] And some updated blocking. The entirety of the 3:00 pm broadcast is done from this position which is standing in front of the desk: [GALLERY=media, 1074]Suzane by LivefromNewYork posted Aug 14, 2018 at 6:58 PM[/GALLERY]
7. Apparently the studio above ( and set parts) were home to ASN (American Sports Network), Sinclair's attempt of a sports network. It was headquartered in West Palm, next to the news building of WPEC. Per morning achor Suzanne Boyd, CBS 12 will use the ASN set as a temporary set until a new old is built.
8. Doubtful, their not gonna risk ratings how they are with Savannah and Hoda. Who the hell do they have left to replace her

10. Just posted something about it here: https://forums.tvnewstalk.net/index.php?threads/fox-news-channel-unveils-brand-new-newsroom.16590/
11. Any changes to 1A? [ edit to add the following] Saturday Today came from Studio 6A today. I did not watch and do not know if they had an live audience.
12. Any idea what studio Today is coming from this morning? Sheinelle has a loop of 30 rock plaza behind her, and Dave Price did weather from the same studio at a large video grid. Looks very polished for an insert studio.
13. "This was a terrible comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines. I realize that's no excuse. I deeply regret it and I'm sorry." - Matthews https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/chris-matthews-apologizes-making-bill-cosby-pill-joke-hillary-clinton-n837481
14. As previously discussed I know that it would be foolish/ impossible to pull Savannah but I wouldn’t hate a Megyn- Hoda partnership. When she was just new to the network she guest hosted the 11am hour when Kathie was out and I really liked the chemistry between Kelly and Hoda. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but Savannah really doesn’t do anything for me. My second dream anchoring duo would be Megyn Kelly and Brian Williams. I feel as if their wits are perfect for each other. Most likely the most improbable thing ever but I would love to see it. I also mentioned a while back it would be cool t
15. Did anyone catch Kasie DC last night?
16. Only thing that reminded me of 'Today' was the untimely constant commercial breaks
17. Earlier in the month CBS 12 opened their 'Hurricane Answer Center' in presumably their news facilities. (reporters were seen in the center and main studio minutes apart) The 'Hurricane Answer Center', as displayed in the below FaceBook live video, shows a large monitor configuration with modern finishes. WPEC is the CBS affiliate for West Palm Beach Fl, owned by Sinclair. Their set, as it is today, via Newscaststudio.
18. That was pretty entertaining. I understand the frustration to a degree but that was pretty ruthless. Looks like his staff was used to it, not even flitching every time he yelled.
19. Here's the promo I referenced last night:
20. Apologizing in advance for terrible quality of these screenshots... A sneak peak inside studio 6A, home of Megyn Kelly Today: Screengrabs from an ad that aired during NBC Nightly News.
21. With school being canceled all week for the hurricane, I have immersed myself with some of TV's morning offerings. Very impressed with Today's Take (granted this is the only episode i've seen in full), the chemistry between everyone feels very real. What will happen to Jones, Roker, and Dreyer? The later two I imagine will expand their weather roles with Today, but I have not seen Sheinelle on MSNBC lately. Being a personality/host is kinda a secondary role of all them.
