  1. News Center Maine’s Lee Nelson will anchor his last broadcast Friday Lee Nelson will become a personal trainer.
  2. In OKC, ATSC 3.0 is transmitting on Nexstar's KAUT license, RF19, with KFOR, KOCO, KOKH, KOCB, and KAUT. As for KAUT's ATSC 1.0 transmissions: 43.1 is on KFOR's RF27 spectrum 43.2 & 43.3 are on KOKH's RF24 spectrum 43.4 is on KOCB's RF33 spectrum
  3. WLBZ would most likely have to petition to move to UHF, they were on RF25 during the transition.
  4. 5. ATSC 3.0 is Live in Oklahoma City The five stations broadcasting NextGen TV in Oklahoma City include Hearst’s KOCO-TV (ABC), Nexstar Media Group’s KFOR-TV (NBC) and KAUT-TV (IND); and Sinclair’s KOKH-TV (Fox) and KOCB-TV (CW).
  6. I believe that the only major MVPD who's managed to keep the Sinclair RSNs has been AT&T as they recently renewed with all Sinclair that included the local stations, the RSNs, Tennis Channel, and added Marquee at launch. AT&T also managed to somehow resolve an earlier dispute with Altitude and added SNLA.
  7. From what I've observed, the primary reason that Tegna is buying KMPX is to get WFAA 8.1 onto a UHF stick as there have apparently been complaints of reception issues with WFAA's current VHF signal.
  8. Sinclair better figure something out, and fast, whether that's to come down on their price, or allow the RSNs to be premium channels.
  9. It appears that WFAA can move 8.1 to the KMPX stick as soon as this deal closes.
  10. Would it just be more practical for Gray to purchase the non-license assets, NBC & CW, and move them to subchannels accordingly?
  11. Upon review, Gray apparently has two CPs in Juneau for stations on channels 15 & 26, maybe Gray will light these up for CBS in Southeast Alaska. https://www.rabbitears.info/search.php?request=owner_search&owner=Gray+Television
  12. I know that KFDX, KAMR, KTAL, KNWA, KSNF, KARK, and KSNW are just some here in the southern plains that I know use the Nexstar NBC package. This is why I see KFOR eventually getting the NBC package whenever Nexstar gets around to imposing their look in OKC.
  13. For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the NHL Restart, the Hurricanes defeated the Rangers while the Islanders defeated the Panthers in the Qualifying Round.
  14. I believe that Nexstar is in a holding pattern at this time until the WPIX issue is resolved as Nexstar would have to sell should the Mission deal fall though.
  15. Gray will now be the primary voice of reason in each of the five smallest states, by population, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming.
  16. Would it make sense for KTVA to take on the former KYES schedule, including MNT, until its final fate is decided.
  17. Sinclair had four months to rebrand the RSNs as MLB is now underway and NBA & NHL comeback next weekend. I wonder whether a rebrand is in the works or if the pandemic delayed any action on Sinclair's part. Also, Sinclair could've used the time to negotiate new deals with MPVDs who've dropped them in recent years.
  18. KFOR Chopper 4 crew spots, rescues missing swimmer in an Oklahoma river Nexstar should keep this bird flying.
  19. Courtesy of the Tegna website, here's what appars to be the WOI Tegna logo.
  20. It's not much, but KLAS-TV named ‘A Proud Broadcast Partner’ of the Raiders, will air the most Raiders’ games.
  21. It appears that Daily Blast Live come on at 12:30 p.m. on both stations while Dr. Phil moves to 3:00 p.m. on WLBZ in order to accomodate the new NewsCenter Maine at 4.
  22. This just leaves KECI, NBC Montana, as the last remaining Bonten station that has not fully converted to the Sinclair graphics.
