  1. I've noticed here recently on YouTube and the NMSA that several stations have been replacing Charlie Van Dyke with a different voice over. Long term clienets like WBRC, WIVB plus KLAS who just started using him not too long ago, are a few that come to mind. Any reason why so many are dropping him all of a sudden?
  2. I was listening to some themes on NMSA. I cam across Firstcom's production track ""Maximum Effort and Efficiency" and it sound identical to the morning cut of Stephen Arnold's Uphonix. Are or were these 2 companies ever related and does any one know if there are any other tracks like this? WIVB New Set, Graphics and Music.

Looks good! Love the set and the blue version of the graphics. Wish they would’ve gone with something other than the bland and over used This is the Place package

WMBD is now using a red/blue variation of the CBS package with Aerial. https://youtu.be/fsu6RU20uGY WYZZ is using the FOX package with Guardian. https://youtu.be/C_yTXmmMsis

New KOLR Graphics / Possible New Nexstar Package?

WISH tv’s logo is pretty much identical, and they’re an independent station. I doubt that WHTM will be using the CBS graphics. They’ll most likely use the ABC package, or if anything, use the WISHtv package that is also being used on ABC sister station WTNH.

    Video Helper Theme

Does anyone by chance know the title of the theme used in the open? I'm pretty sure it's by Video Helper but I can't find it anywhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=zo_Nf90Gu8U;t=6

    Video Helper Theme

Yes! They do use 360, but the music heard in the video I shared is not part of the package. It’s a production music track. I’ve heard other stations use it in promos before. Thanks for your help though!

    KOLR 10 News New Set

Some video of KOLR10’s newscast. Morning: They’re still using the old production music package in the talent at the end of the clip. They’re also still using part of the old graphics package but with different colors Evening: They’re still using Signature as the close but the same 2 cuts of Overture for everything else. The new set looks great, but they need to pick one music and graphic package to use and dump the other. The new and old together just looks sloppy.

    KOLR 10 News New Set

WVLA used a copy of this logo for some time as well.

    KOLR 10 News New Set

I feel like this is going to be a 2 hour lifestyle show. Is there a prime time newscast too?

    WFTS dropping Action News branding?

I follow ABC Action News on Facebook and here lately they've been using a generic WFTS-ABC logo at the end of their videos. I've never seen this logo used anywhere else. I was wondering if they're going to slowly start branding as WFTS outside of the news or if their dropping ABC Action News all together..

    WMC New Voiceover

I don’t think it’s a bad slogan for weather, but the “you’re watching your first alert station” is a bit of overkill.

    WMC New Voiceover

Ugh... I love those graphics but they look very cheap sped up like that. That over used first alert slogan that WAFF and now WALB are using needs to go.

    WMC New Voiceover

WFIE began using Mark Peeples today.

    Gray/Raycom Merger Thread

I’m not sure. I hope they keep the Limerick design or upgrade it. The Gray graphics aren’t bad, but they do look cheap. I cringe when I picture graphics designed by Gray on KFVS and WAFB.

    WISH getting new set

I love In-Sink! Glad to see it back on WISH. I'm surprised that Nexstar didnt commission Stephen Arnold to do a version of Back Home Again in Indiana. Just curious, is WISH using any cuts from v1-v4, or is it all v5?

    WMC New Voiceover

    WFIE is still using Young.

New KOLR Graphics / Possible New Nexstar Package?

I actually enjoy these image campaigns. I'm most familiar with WTWO, and it captures this area perfectly. I'm sure the other's capture their area perfectly too. The CBS42 one is a bit on the cheesey side though...

New KOLR Graphics / Possible New Nexstar Package?

I really wish these stations would use the weather cut of music for the forecast first open instead of the main theme. It sounds so cluttered using the main theme for the weather and the open.
