WFLD Had the best Cubs coverage tonight

WLS AND WFLD HOLDING UP STRONG WGN running on fumes WMAQ had SNL plans insted WBBM went to bed

Now that WFLDs out of the basement is WBBM or WGN The lowest rated newscast in Chicago in the 25-54 demographic

I wonder did WBBM forget to turn some of the lights on this morning set looked awful dark

I honestly dont think WFLD is being budget conscious for weekends by having a solo anchor i just think they got tired of trying to find someone to pair him up with after all they have the second highest budget in the Chicago market

WGN is going to fall. THE MAIN REASON why WFLD could not secure ratings is because at the time they did not have a early evening newscast now people do not think their a joke anymore. Watch out WGN WFLD IS COMING FOR YOU. As for WBBM i do think WFLD WILL past them in ratings as well but WBBM is capable of beating repeative WGN's 10pm BS.

Also WFLD has the second highest budget behind WLS so they can pull the joker card out anytime they want

And as for WFLDs weekend morning news i cant even find ratings for any weekend morning news and i think WFLD just wants to have a newscast in every spot which they pretty much do except weekend early evenings which is kinda dumb and there making money on the boat WGN has to swim to catch making more ad dollars weekend mornings

WGN dropping the CW was the biggest mistake that station has ever made. The only money there going to make is with some news that is 7 to 10am. WBBM is going to stay on there butt at 11 as long as Lets Make a Deal is on at 9 and The Price is Right is on at 11 I dont care who is anchoring. WMAQ is starting a 4pm newscast that will scatter WLS and WGNs 4pm ratings even more so good luck with that. Primetime ratings the days with no sports hell probably wont even beat WCIU and WFLD is getting closer to the key money demo with WGN 25-54 so yeah WGN has weekend morning news and 7-10 on weekdays. Good Luck with that

The graphics in my opinion have helped WBBMs sloppy apperance in a huge way but the cramped camera angles some lights being out the newsroom the lobby hell even the big screen tv outside the studio making Washinghton St in Downtown Chicago look like NYC the point is it look great in my opinion but the set needs to be changed. Hell i wouldnt even mind if they threw the desk where it use to be but if they try and do that (change the bulb in the other backdrop)

As for the radar who cares WLS just got a 1,000,000 radar really.... WFLD has had one for nearly ten years get with the times. Also I dont know why there just now getting one. WMAQ IS TRYING TO HARD WLS has the biggest budget in the market. Having said that dont insult WFLD they have the second highest budget in the market and can pretty much get anything the other stations get no questions asked
