  1. I'm still upset after all these years that they changed the theme music.
  2. Per anchor David Wade, former WHDH investigative reporter Cheryl Fiandaca is joining WBZ in the same capacity.
  3. Kate Merrill named morning and noon anchor at WBZ.
  4. They just have to hash out the details.
  5. Considering I can't remember anything from after about 10:30 PM I'd say it worked out just the same.
  6. I imagine someone would stay back in New York; if we use the 1990s/early 2000s. for example, maybe Matt, Katie, and Al would be on the road an Ann would read the news from 1A. Or the producer could simply get on with Matt and Katie remotely and they'd break that way.
  7. When's she due anyway? I know she announced she was expecting in June but I'm sure she was already a little bit along by then.
  8. Maybe I'm just being swept up in the latest wave of nostalgia, but I feel like these shows were better in the 90s, as in I feel like they both devoted far more time to actual news than celebrity gossip and summer/fall/etc drink recipes. As its 15th anniversary approaches I wonder if September 11 caused all this; people are more afraid of the world and just want to "happy" news, or rather frivolous and want to be bothered with "the real world" as little as possible. Sorry if this is too off-topic but it's something I've noticed with the morning shows, not just GMA or Today or whoever.
  9. Are they even anymore though? I read somewhere they lead in overall viewers but Today does better in the demo (and like you pointed makes more money for NBC than GMA does for ABC).
  10. Can we just bring the late 90's intro music and call it even?
