  2. This was right after they moved to their current studios on Dorr Street, you can see many commercials on its progress on YT. KCEN's morning news from Chistmas Eve 1992, uploaded by the anchor himself, Richard Tolleson: He's also uploaded lots of promos and bloopers from his time there:

  4. Bits and pieces of Medford news (not sure if there are any opens):
  5. Funny thing we many of us thought Scripps would go voiceover-less with the new opens, but so far the only one who's done that is the pilot station (WTXL)!
  6. This was actually a replay of the 9:30pm newscast that aired right before the sign-off, which can be found in this vid: Also among Mr. Pannoni's uploads today, a full WZZM newscast from 1989: Plus, take a look inside WTVC in 1983/4:
  7. Sorry but that was stolen from this vid:
  8. Two episodes of a rare and short lived NBC daytime magazine show REALlife from 1996. The reason I'm posting this onto here is because it was taped at the studios of WHDH. Joel Cheatwood was also executive producer. Could anymore enlighten me more on this show? I know it aired on only a few smaller stations and the O&Os.
  9. An almost complete KAAL 6pm newscast from September 25, 1987, which then leads into live coverage of high school football, it's small town network affiliate TV at it's best!
  10. Can't say I've heard this version of the Hello promo anywhere else before......
  11. WYMT from December 1997, a production music track I assume?
  12. A bit of WISH's news from August 8, 1987, devoted to the opening of the 1987 Pan-Am Games held in Indianapolis (the second and most recent time a US city held them)
  13. Looks like Keloland started using First News before they changed to their current logo:
  14. And now Byron Allen wants Tegna...... https://deadline.com/2020/03/byron-allen-bid-broadcaster-tegna-1202880413/
  15. Yep, she left because of the Jerry Springer experiment, if you look closely during the close, you'll see a cutout of a newspaper article about her departure. BTW, those two newscasts came from this site, which has a lot more material related to Carol, including a pre-Chicago newscast at WSM-TV! https://mediaburn.org/video/ch-5-news-5197-5597/
  16. I'm purposely reposting the WMAQ 1997 newscast, because it has the extremely rare Jerry Springer commentary on it!
  17. The two half hour newscasts at 8 and 9 were still there, mostly likely they were still using the old KHJ graphics & logo and It's All Right Here up until Prime9 launched.
  18. A lot of stations around the country now have .5 and .6 channels. I guess the bandwith has now improved in the past 10 years?
  19. WJRT from 1987 and a theme that sounds a lot like Newschannel: WRGB introduces closed captioned news: KCAL looks back on its first year of Prime 9 News: KEZI from 1977!
  20. Can't say that I've heard this WRAL campaign: A bit of WTIC's News at 10 from it's first months: A whole Sunday night CBS Evening News followed by a KFMB newscast from September 23, 1990: Some KPTM teasers and a news open from 1995:
  21. Bits of Scranton from 1986: KTVU's 40th anniversary special: An early WRTV on WTTV newscast:
