  1. CBS Mornings is rolling out a new affiliate ticker on Monday.
  2. It’s on KTVT’s end, they have the show on their late night schedule. I was tricked, too; I thought CBS had kept it around.
  3. The ESPN NBA revolving door continues to spin. Doc Rivers has been hired as the new coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
  4. KTVN is the first affiliate to adopt the new O&O look.
  5. Mark L. Walberg and Pat Finn were also career game show hosts, as well. I think Jess was right over on the Discord. The breed of “game show host” is extinct.
  6. WHIO has debuted as well. WFXT is on the clock.
  7. Changes coming. - MiA expands to weekends with Hena Doba, airing from 7-10am ET starting January 27. Starting Jan. 27: - Elizabeth Vargas Reports and The Hill are switching timeslots. Vargas airs at 5pm ET and Hill at 6pm ET. Weekday MiA is losing an hour, now airing from 6-9am ET, with Markie Martin solo-anchoring. Adrienne Bankert is moving to a special projects role. NN Live with Marni Hughes will air from 9am-noon ET, and NN Now with Nichole Berlie gains an hour, airing from noon-3pm ET.

  10. Pretty much any network that broadcasts the Super Bowl sends out their entire unit (news, sports and entertainment divisions) to the site of the game every year. Sometimes, the whole parent company of the network is involved.

  13. MLB will reportedly control the Rockies broadcast next season. No changes to broadcasters.
  14. WUSA is replacing Great Day Washington with a 9am hour of Get Up DC.

  16. KTLA still does their local broadcast and still repeats it throughout the day and in primetime. Their coverage is also on Great American Family.
  17. News is being restored to KDNL. They are running The National Desk at 6am, 5pm and 10pm starting January 1st.
  18. Gray has filed a trademark for the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network. Assuming this is aimed at New Orleans and they’re getting the Pelicans after they end things with Bally. .
  19. Mayim Bialik is out on syndicated J!
  20. Scott Chapin is retiring from voiceover work, for good this time. The end of an era for many Fox affiliates nationwide.
