And why is that?
Does “Shake it Off” mean something to ya?
The number of women in the NFL fanbase has been growing since long before a certain female superstar started dating a certain Chiefs player. Not to mention there are women on NFL coaching staffs and front offices.

CBS News reporter and streaming anchor Elaine Quijano is anchoring with Doug Williams this Sunday morning. Doug and Craig Allen have been welcoming her all morning, so it appears that she is the new anchor, replacing Andrea Grymes.

Love this idea but if daytime television's target audience is women, how many will support this show?
Women make up almost half of the NFL fanbase.- 1

Stations can take one or two hours each day and air the show whenever they want. GMFB is being sold to stations with a 7-7 barter split, meaning there will be seven minutes of national advertising and seven minutes of local advertising in each hour-long episode. Deals are currently in progress, according to Sony, and will be announced at a later date.
So this isn’t meant to air exclusively in the morning hours like Live with Kelly & Mark is and Daily Buzz was. It will also premiere sometime this summer, before the preseason kicks off.- 5

I guess based on the PageSix article Muppetman shared, we can get to enjoy the street studio while it lasts, which will be gone by the middle of next year. Per the article, they could probably have studios in the basement of the new complex next year. Hopefully, the NYC subway rumbling underneath them won't be too loud or disruptive to the new WABC studio and broadcast, haha.
Back on the topic of the graphics now, does anyone have any insight on when KABC and WPVI will adopt the O&O group package? It seems like these are the only O&Os left to shift to the new generalized look. The weather graphics haven't changed yet either for them as of today.
PVI already has the new weather graphics.- 2

“I think this is my final contract. I hate to even say it, because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to be not the case. I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good. That seems like enough.”

they just hired a new meteorologist. I presume this is for weekend mornings. Don’t know much about him so we shall see.
They need to hire a new sports anchor like yesterday. They haven’t had one in two months.
Troy Bridges was laid off from WKMG awhile ago. -

NBC Sports California has hired Jenny Cavnar as their new Athletics play-by-play announcer. She becomes the first female lead play-by-play announcer in MLB history, and only the third in the four major leagues.

Yep. This reminds me of what Fox did at Super Bowl LI a few years ago.

Saw a live update before Road to the Super Bowl. Nothing new, outside of the potentially refreshed scorebug.

Forecast chimes are the station's way of trying to get you to look at the screen to see the extended forecast.
By the way, the WBZ chime is the CBS mnemonic introduced in 2020 and the WBTS chime are the NBC chimes.

New graphics premiered.
The open basically looks the same, but has been made shorter.
The lower-thirds look cartoonish and they went with a bold condensed font for the main text. Is the text an afterthought?
The logo, now stacked in two lines, stays on the left side of the screen like the other CBS newscasts and local news. (Previously it would move above the lower-third.)
The font is Flama Condensed Bold. News and Sports uses it in tandem with TT Norms. -
WSB is now using the new graphics in full, as they have debuted the standard open.

KABC is the last holdout. They don’t even have the new weather graphics yet.
