  1. Late reply but, even ABC is starting to have some of their own elements in their sports telecasts (i.e ABC's name is on the Copyright stamp instead of ESPN). Who knows maybe Disney has finally realized that placing the ESPN branding on ABC was a mistake
  2. I doubt if ABC does it, this Television season because if they did then there's no way WFAA moves their 12pm newscast to 11am
  3. If NBC were smart and brought back "The Lights" they would make it a challenger to CBS Sports HQ and that would be an instant for viewers like me who would rather see highlights on their phones than on TV and wait until they show highlights of their favorite sports or their favorite teams
  4. And now KJRH feels what KOKI felt before Cox took over and things like this are NOT going to make your viewers happy AND it'll cause viewers to find new stations to get their news
  5. So let me get this straight, USA Today posted a story about a Bartlesville man burning his house down, it was fake news and KJRH went with the story anyway, really? KJRH, you have landed on the BANKRUPT for posting a Fake News story
  6. That was the same storms that also postponed the Akron-Nebraska Football game as well, have they announced when they're going to play that game?
  7. I think ABC is phasing out having the color-coded logos in favor of just the standard black logo, last time I checked earlier today while I was watching the Washington-Auburn game, I think ABC is only used the red-colored version of the logo for certain promos (but that's just my educated guess)
  8. So, in other words, CBS doesn't like CBS TM airing on a junior partner of a duopoly partner (unless it's the Saturday edition of CBS TM) right?
  9. Well CBS complained about KUTV not airing CBS TM in pattern so it would not surprise me if CBS have done the same about KOTV and WFMY
  10. Yeah but, I'm afraid to say that CBS will do the same to KOTV that they did to KUTV (and then watch as viewers abandon KOTV for KOKI) Even though KOTV has dominated TV News in Tulsa for 17 years but, all it'll take for that dominance to end is by CBS forcing KOTV to air CBS This Morning in pattern
  11. That makes sense, now if they can merge WatchESPN with ESPN+, then I would gladly sign up for the streaming service
  12. Now you wonder why Hearst has been buying up the duopoly bait stations as of late
  13. Have they announced when the new ticker will make its official, permanent debut? I know it'll be before the start of the Football season but, what specific date have they set for that debut?
  14. This leaves KTUL as Tulsa's only 11am newscast
  15. I would not be surprised if other Hearst stations affiliated with ABC do the same (KMBC, KETV, KHBS/KHOG and KOAT come to mind, while KOCO could simply just slide over the 9am newscast to 11am)
  16. I'll be doing the same in 2028 when I turn 30
  17. We all are getting old, I'll be 20 in December. Man that's pretty old
  18. Hence why I said technically for that very reason
  19. KRBK's license is in Osage Beach, Missouri (near Lake of the Ozarks) which technically is within the Springfield/Branson DMA
  20. KDA/KSWO/KSLA would pretty much give TEGNA every single market that serves portions of the Lone Star State
  21. I guess Springfield becomes another Jacksonville or another market that's on the same level as Springfield with only 2 owners controlling at least 3 stations
  22. I'd be curious if KTUL eventually get into the weekend morning news game. I know KJRH, KOKI, and KOTV are the only ones with a weekend morning newscast in some way, shape or form
  23. Which those sales should be easy ones AND this gives Hearst stations affiliated with Fox for the very first time
  24. It'll likely go through since the 8 voices test has been eliminated and as for Sinclair possibly acquiring WPFO that's for the speculatron
  25. Have KRCR returned to their Redding facility? I know for awhile they had to use their satellite station in Eureka (which is 4 hours from Redding) to cover the fire
