  2. Looks like the SSK era is over: https://pagesix.com/2020/07/02/strahan-sara-and-keke-canceled-by-abc/?_ga=2.163968127.19720588.1593314127-1457041757.1580406128
  3. I am just curious as to whether this tape would be released in the first place if Bush was still on Acces Hollywood. Given that AH reported on the tape itself, how could that of worked if the shows anchor was part such a salacious story?
  4. It seems like they tried to maintain the more elaborate and casual camera shots they use when in NY and LA sans the presence of enough tech to match what they regularly use (projection walls in NY and the different monitor setups they have in LA). I really think they should bring a facelift or renovation to the D.C. Bureau that could better align the newsroom's look with that of 30 Rock and the new LA setup. The newsroom set could use some more monitors and lighter design components to provide more show/branding opportunities since the set is used daily on NBC and MSNBC broadcasts. The lone monitor currently used behind the anchor/reporter to brand the show and the internally lit columns towards the back just seem outdated. I think they should have used the MTP set tonight because NN and MTP's set bare noticeable similarities. The presence of heavy wood tones, projected walls and monitor walls would have made a much better match for tonight's broadcast.
  5. I believe WNYW had a 11:00am broadcast until they expanded "Good Day" a few years back. I think it's a good idea considering they would be the only local news at 11. Perhaps this could be a pathway to success for PIX 11, going on the air with local news while other channels are on their network's feed.
  6. Does anyone know why GMA is the only ABC News show to have it's sight hosted on Yahoo? I think it would make more sense to move it over to ABCNews.com and incorporate Yahoo News into ABC's site where all the other shows are. It also causes confusion considering many of the articles are posted under GMA on ABCNews.com even though it's on a different site.
  7. I find that the new circular components shrinks the LW3 and make the text look very cramped. I think it is also a little too busy and distracting.
  8. I'm hoping they tone down the wood tones just a bit. Maybe revert back to the whitish scheme like they have done with the KLG and Hoda set is much more flexible than the set downstairs and I think you can see that by their increasing use of that set for more and more segments including demos and celebrity interviews (not to mention the mishmash look that set has compared to the rest of the first two hours). I just think that a whiter and less busy set aesthetic wise would provide them with greater flexibility in addition to their myriad of digital components like the movable monitors and wrap around ribbon over homebase. Just looking at the versatility of the old set with its color changing walls (with different lighting) and lighter color tones made the set amenable to nearly any change needed. I think that more of that and less of the faux wood/ 70's home look would give the set more longevity instead of the dated feel it now has only two years after the renovation.
