Yeah probably #2 is a part of it. Interesting touch the ticker banner at the end has the live time and current weather headlines.
Also guessing the temp/forecast tile next to Lee in the open is also 'live.'
Yes the temp/forecast tile is live.. It's always been a different temp/condition and I verify it as I watch it...

Also looks like ARC doesn't do Sat newscast at 10PM anymore past 2 weeks been Full Measure.
Well kinda makes sense... Money that Sinclair doesn't have to shell out for a 10pm newscast now that CW is gone there...

Heather Walker moves from WTVJ to WSVN as an investigative reporter...

WFXT is live -- that completes everyone I believe

I think WNBC should've gotten this instead.. this looks way better than what they got

This was a huge upgrade for WPXI and WSOC

Not a bad package... if executed correctly at WSB it would look nice... But overall, meh

Well since Sinclair has trimmed WWMT down to bare bones, this morning's newscast was presented by meteorologist Collin Rogers (he stated on Facebook that Allie Jennerjohn was under the weather)... Gotta love it

Wow! I had no clue he left WFTS. It shows how much I watch either station. I watch WFLA and WTVT way too much.
He was booted by the Scripps Pinx Slip Express in October

Former WFTS main anchor Jamison Uhler is crossing the street to WTSP's 4:30-7a Brightside...

Any market that has to deal with a significant amount of severe weather/tornadoes/hurricanes, I can see at most 6. Have 2 in-studio, and instead of using reporters/mmjs, use the other 4 out in the field for reports, so they can give first-hand meteorological reports of damages, etc and fill-ins... I don't know why stations all of a sudden had a need to have a different meteorologist for each damn newscast of the day... No wonder they are starting mets at $15k a year.. there's no work

And I should mention that WNEM is using the GrayONE version of the First Alert Weather intro to the weather segment.. I'm thinking within the next week or so they'll switch over...

No, ARC West Michigan is the brand they'll take once they lose CW. It'll just be an independent. Why they chose that name, I don't know.
https://arcwestmichigan.com/ They already have it on the website

Yesterday at 5pm, KTTC made a music switch from “The Rock” to “This is The Place”, which seems to be the new standard for Gray stations.
Edit just minutes after I posted this: WNDU has changed to GrayONE, also changing their music from “Aerial” to “Inergy”, both from Stephen Arnold Music.
Actually the music is the other way around... Inergy to Aerial

Someone in that thread had mentioned that they want to remove the affiliations from all branding so they can focus on the LOCAL news branding instead of the national network news

Breaking news! Binghamton’s WBNG has officially launched GrayONE. And this one was way needed. A small market like that really deserves recognition. You can watch the official confirming video on (what else?) Studio 31 Media Archive on YouTube.
This looks nice for an ex-Quincy station. I do notice they need to do some changes with the weather branding in-studio.. They switched to the First Alert Weather moniker, but still have Storm Track 12 in-studio... I'm sure that will change in due time.

Not sure if this is the place for this question or not, but please move it if it isn't...
Anyways, my question is: What's up with anchors/mmjs/etc constantly moving after 1-2 years?? Doesn't this make them less credible?? I'm just curious why stations are hiring people, only to have them leave after a year... I've been doing some searches and haven't come across a somewhat clear answer...

The old Meredith package is being phased out, just like the previous Gray packages are. It seems whenever a station is ready, they are going with GrayOne. I'm guessing smaller stations are lower priority, but some REALLY could use a new package.
There's no need for the old Meredith package.. GrayOne has elements of it in there...

According to a certain website that I cannot mention, the set will debut Tuesday, January 23 when they debut the new facility along with new evening anchor Scott Thuman.
