  1. This looks nice.. They needed a huge upgrade after Gray dumped them!
  2. Between Chuck, Angela, and Sean (don't know much about Chelsea) that's going to be one good team...
  3. Wow that's just bland... Whoopty doo... A wall with a monitored-corner...
  4. I know they lost Kelly Greene not that long ago... And I'm wondering if Chuck Lofton might be stepping back/away??
  5. KFSM Chief Meteorologist Matt Standridge has been "promoted" within TEGNA. He hasn't revealed exactly what; he just mentions a "different office". His last day is Wednesday, Feb 14.
  6. WZZM meteorologist Michael Behrens "promoted" to WBNS in Columbus
  7. Still a lot better than what they had
  8. Okay so we can stop this whole "XXXX" removed the NBC/CBS logo and make this thread longer than it already is, I spent the last 90 minutes going to every Gray owned and/or operated NBC website. I went to the livestream tab and watched the latest newscast to get the most accurate info. As you can see by the table I made, 99.5% of the staions have removed the NBC peacock from the station logo and branding. I can also verify that a good chunk of the CBS stations have also removed the CBS eye from the station logos (no I won't do a table). Wikipedia and Logopedia are NOT the best source for this info, as I found most of the station pages have NOT been updated to reflect the removals. I propose from here on out, let's stop posting that station XXXX has removed the peacock or eye from the logo. Unless the station completely revamps the logo, let's just know that this is now verified that Gray is removing NBC/CBS logos (ABC/FOX are unknown at this time)...
  9. WZZM Chief Meteorologist George Lessens to retire in December 2024.
  10. This means nothing... There are several Gray stations that have had the NBC peacock and the CBS eye removed for weeks now...
  11. Sigh.. WSB always needs to stick out like a sore thumb.. If you're not going to go 100% with a new graphics package, then don't freaking use it at all.. The clash of packages is god awful...
  12. I wonder when KUSI gets their new set/graphics, if KSWB will finally get new weather graphics.. those god awful Tribune ones need to go
  13. Yeah I'm not seeing anything from the new package... except for the aforementioned correct ABC logo
  14. Not surprised one bit... Good for him
  15. They easily could've put a black and white 2 in the box instead of the call letters... Either go by the call letters or the 2.. but both together in 2 difference places is tacky
  16. Yes... and a few posts up it was already noted
  17. Just a quick bump to this one... According to a certain site, the WINK graphics were done by Vivid Zero, the same creators of the new ABC O&O graphics.. that's why the 10-day forecast is similar.. Plus now that I see the 2 packages, you can see glimpses of similarities
  18. Okay this is a freaking cool set for Sinclair
  19. Seems out of place for a DMA such as Reno.. I'd easily see this in a top 50 market... But nonetheless looks sharp.. I wonder if WDJT will get this, seeing that they liked the previous O&O look
  20. Had you read the captions on the photos on this link, you would have seen that this is the current set... unless you have seen the new set somehow
  21. But a crap ton have over the past several months
  22. Kinda odd to own the library but switching over to SA music instead... *shrug*
  23. They are the first to use Warner Chappell music with the package too.. This was a very well deserved upgrade for KWQC
  24. Per the article.... "Thuman will continue in his role as chief political correspondent and cover world affairs on the nationally syndicated show, ‘Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson’."
