  1. WOOD TV's Marlee Ginter has revealed that she is on her way to KOVR in Sacramento... She left WOOD 12/20
  2. Yeah being Gray operated, they will go with whatever Gray uses for WILX most likely when they update them...
  3. Primetime News has been in use with WOOD for 25 years... They use so many different cuts but each one sounds current and catchy.... It can be done with the right package...
  4. I wonder if KNXV here in Phoenix will get an updated logo... Since WMAR let go of their version, I don't think the black and yellow would look as good here... I wouldn't mind a variation of this 1995-97 logo:
  5. I am disappointed in the shades of blue chosen... But the music is awesome Also on a side note.... WXMI got the Scripps web layout yesterday -- but the logo is now missing the Fox Searchlights Old: New:
  6. WXMI and WPIX has now gone from the Tribune web layout to the Scripps layout http://www.fox17online.com http://www.pix11.com Also, the WXMI logo no longer has the Fox Searchlights in the 17 box...
  7. So I'm trying to find if this was mentioned someplace, but I can't see anything so I'll post here... A while back, there was a discussion about how WISH had dropped the 24-hour news moniker... Well it now looks like WOOD is now dropping it as well... While watching the news today I noticed the reporters are now signing off as "Reporter Name, News 8" instead of "Reporter Name, 24-hour News 8". Now granted their LL Bean jackets still show 24-hour News 8, but I do believe that the 24-hour news moniker is now gone... I am sad
  8. I'm sure they'll move KASW to KNXV in due time.. I know where both stations are and it's a decent drive between the two... KASW is located at 7th St. and Missouri, while KNXV is at 44th st and Washington, near Loop 202. Makes sense to condense it to KNXV
  9. Love love LOVE WAVE's new graphics!! Definitely should roll out to others!
  10. It's the same font Scripps and most stations are now/have been using: Proxima... It's just a thinner version of it...
  11. I honestly think it's not half bad... Does it need work? Absolutely. But so glad they only rolled it out to one market and a market that isn't major. I applaud Scripps for choosing a smaller market to test this out in. Let's hope the package improves as they roll out. The music isn't bad either.
  12. Out of curiosity do we know why it's taking so long for WTHR and WBNS to be "Tegna-fied"?? I know when they acquired KFMB it didn't take 4 months... I'm not expecting the newly acquired properties to get it for some time....
  13. I see the WLUK also has the augmented reality for their weather graphics... does any other Sinclair stations have this??
  14. Speaking of WDBJ I wish more Gray stations would pick up their graphics package, especially their weather graphics... I think the Raycom stations would've looked better with that packaage
  15. Here Mayor -- stand here and look silly cutting some ribbon in front of our green screen and pretend to be interested in our fancy digs... I would've felt like a complete ass doing that...
  16. Yes, I just can't remember which slots... but it's between KNXV and KSAZ Fox 10
  17. Gross... Just gross... I don't have time to cock my head to one side to read what's going on... The color choice is horrendous.. Did they not learn from their mistakes at WTSP in Tampa??
  18. I wonder how much the person who took .32432432 seconds to design this "logo" (it ain't one sorry) got.... I wouldn't even give a quarter for it...
  19. Which is funny since the host, Kevin O'Connell just retired from TEGNA owned WGRZ not that long ago...
  20. Scott Jones does... He's been in the biz a long time and has his reliable sources...
  21. I'm digging it... So much better than the current package
  22. You're watching Monique Robinson with your WWAY Stormtrack 3 AccuWeather First Alert Storm Team Weather (end is exaggerated on purpose).... Either call it Stormtrack 3 weather or AccuWeather... Too many descriptors there..
