MSNBC LIVE from 3-5pm replaces the canceled "The Cycle" and "NOW with Alex Wagner" and would be anchored by exile anchor Brian Williams. Chuck Todd's show takes over the 5pm slot from "The Ed Show." MSNBC LIVE at 6pm resumes with another anchor and replaces the stupid Al Sharpton, PoliticsNation show (why is he still on MSNBC? He's un-trusted and doesn't even pay his taxes). 7pm is still the timeslot to do some "Hardball with Chris Matthews." Get out Chris Hayes, because at 8pm... "The News with Brian Williams" makes a return. You're lucky Rachel Maddow that your show remains at 9pm. MSNBC LIVE from 10pm-12am replaces "The Last Word" and Rachel Maddow repeat from Mondays-Thursdays and "Lockup" on Fridays. The repeat for Rachel Maddow remains at 12am. The 10 and 11pm hours of MSNBC LIVE repeat from 1-3am, replacing The Last Word and All In. Hardball repeats from 3-4am, an hour later than what MSNBC currently shows at 2am. My point... more news, throughout the day AND night.

That debuted this past Monday and I already reported on this, since last week on my blog.

And once those contracts are over, ABC affiliates can then take over and put more local news or put more syndicated programming in it.

Really? I've always though WTVT was the highest-rated FOX station (in terms of O&O's) in the country, considering that WTVT is #1 in most, if not all, news timeslots.

The radio sister... Newsradio 950 WWJ and sports station 97.1 The Ticket, which is sometimes #1 in Detroit radio ratings.

I guess the station never confirmed my report, but that's what happens. I reported this for a week now and its now confirmed. I'm so good at this. A journalistic victory for my "Changing Newscasts Blog."

So its 5 organizations, 6 stations if you count TWC News North Carolina, 7 for WBTV News on Bounce TV, 8 for WSOC's Eyewitness News on WAXN. That's as equal as the amount of local news organizations we have here in South Florida (WFOR, WTVJ, WSVN, WPLG, WGEN, WLTV/WAMI, WJAN/WFUN, WSCV)

As long as they don't get rid of Right This Minute, I'm fine with that. I love that show.

I like this lineup, but I think Ukee and Jessica should do 6 and 11 p.m. while Natasha and some male anchor does 5 and 10 p.m.

I don't think he has. Steve used to do the midday show for a long time before leaving for the news at 9, but then returned to the midday show once Mark Supplesa came to WGN TV.

Weird to see the NY1 logo without the TWC sign, but it shouldn't be at all.

WFOR has the CBS part as Gold and the "4" part as blue. Pretty understandable, since this is South Florida and we have plenty of beach water around us.

Everybody except KECY 9.2 in Yuma, AZ-El Centro, CA, in which its owned by News-Press and Gazette Company.

So what's gonna happen to KXLH-LD in Helena and KRTV in Great Falls ? Eventually, there's gonna be conflict with the Montana Television Network, in which Cordillera already owns there.

Now these days, the new broadcast day begins at 4am.

1.) WMAR 2 is one of Scripps' worst-performing stations. 2.) WMAR 2 is the only Scripps station that doesn't produce news on Saturdays. 3.) I believe WMAR 2 is the only news-produced Scripps station that doesn't air midday news. 4.) WMAR 2 is one of ABC's weakest stations. I can go on and on and on as to how bad WMAR 2 has been.

But Action News is on from 5:30-8:00 and 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00-8:00 and 9:00-10:30 a.m. + 12:00-1:00 p.m. Eyewitness News is 5:00-7:00 a.m. Saturdays and 6:00-9:00 a.m. Sundays. NBC 10 News is 5:00-7:00 and 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturdays and 5:30-8:00 and 9:00-10:30 a.m. Sundays. FOX 29 Weekend is 8:00-10:00 a.m. Saturdays and 8:00-9:00 a.m. Sundays. 69 News Sunrise is Saturdays from 7:00-9:00 a.m. So I don't get it as to what you mean by "can't watch local news because it ends at 7:00 a.m."? In Philly, there are plenty of options after 7:00 a.m. on both Saturdays and Sundays.

They can put the CW back on KYLX-LP 13.2, if they wanted to.

So what does this mean for the Montana Television Network, since Cordillera already owns KRTV 3 Great Falls/KXLH-LD 9 Helena? I think they are gonna have to sell KTVH 12 and KBGF 50 eventually, since Cordillera can't own it.
