  1. It's the first time I've seen it today so its new to me. Thanks for the background information. I wonder if TF1/LCI have done something similar.
  2. I can't read French but I can get the gist of what this story is talking about. France 4 and France O are shutting down on August 9th. France 4 focused on Entertainment and Children while France O focused on programs from France's overseas departments around the world, but shown in France. Its overseas counterpart, Outre-Mer 1ere, will continue to broadcast as it does so outside of France. That'll just leave France 2, France 3, France 5 and Franceinfo left from the France Televisions group. https://www.ozap.com/actu/france-4-et-france-o-fermeront-le-9-aout-prochain/587713
  3. They're #1, but your right. Just provide three or so anchor teams and they'll be good but nope.
  4. I guess it won't be just the O&Os anymore. The first non-O&O right here.
  5. I think ABC may do something similar but I'm really not too sure since all ABC said was that they're creating Roku and Fire TV apps for its ABC stations.
  6. In San Diego, KGTV (5:00-7:00 + 8:00-9:00 a.m.), KNSD (7:00-8:00 a.m.) and KUSI (6:00-11:00 a.m.) have weekend morning news. I'm surprised too. But I think KSWB will get it before KFMB ever does.
  7. Good for her. She deserves it after 25 years where it looks like its a promotion where she'll be across the country and not just Philadelphia. I just hope WPVI picks up her reports.
  8. In other words, KLJB, KMSS and KPEJ will effectively be 100% Nexstar stations as Mission is just a sidecar of Nexstar.
  9. To clarify... WISH-TV's Weekend Daybreak actually goes from 5:30-10:00 a.m. Also, I'm not too sure about that limited scope just yet. I'll wait another week before true clarification, only because some sites don't put the weekday news on the schedule past this week so I'll just wait.
  10. This is what I was looking for. Or... The Tube Music Network. I wish THAT came back.
  11. I think this was missed. The purchase of TEGNA to acquire KTBU has been finalized and closed on March 24th. Three days later, it switched from Mega TV to Quest which is what its currently airing. According to Wikipedia and RabbitEars as well as Mike McGuff, the Vietnamese subs are still on but I doubt it will last there, especially now that its under TEGNA ownership. https://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2020/03/tegna-takes-over-ktbu-55.html
  12. WTVF was John Young's longtime flagship client and was the voice of the station from the mid-90s until just recently replaced.
  13. Yes because y'all are forgetting that Raycom (now Gray) owned KASA from 1999-2007.
  14. I'd bet its only temporary for COVID-19 as it'll go back to just an hour afterwards.
  15. I just got word from KSHB themselves... its temporary. They'll go back to starting at 4 p.m. once the outbreak is over.
  16. That's the part I'm trying to figure out because so many stations have been adding newscasts left and right lately and the majority being temporary that I won't know if its permanent until the pandemic is over.
  17. winner winner, chicken dinner!
  18. Thanks for letting me know, T.L. but I'll be waiting for which ones hit the airvwaves before I report anything on it. Its critical to get it right.
  19. Notice the mistake in the promo.
  20. But that's also only because most NBC affiliates rather carry *The More You Know* E/I block in full, in which most (not all) affiliates air it from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on weeks the Premier League have a game on NBC.
  21. When I saw the listings, it was on those four plus WATL, WUPA and GPB Radio.
  22. Unless, if you look at Charlotte for example, it carries local news (I know, its CW is owned by Bahakel). So YouTube TV is carrying WCCB Charlotte and if that's the case, then it should also carry KPLR St. Louis, KTLA Los Angeles, KWGN Denver, WNLO Buffalo and WTVW Evansville because they all carry a significant amount of local news (especially KTLA).
  23. For the record, WTOC expanded their 4PM news to an hour like a month or so before this so the expansion is NOT related to COVID-19. This is the report I put out about that back on February 15th: https://changingnewscasts.wordpress.com/2020/02/15/small-minor-newscast-changes-321/
  24. KFMB AM/FM aren't even going to be together as KFMB FM is kept by LMSD while KFMB AM will go to the same owners as their main news/talker rival, 600 KOGO.
  25. They should put Barren's background as a live shot of Charleston just for keeps! Lmao.
