  1. Um, this one. You'll have to register to access. The discussion in in a thread about NFL contracts in 2022/2023.
  2. As an addendum, there's a lot of skepticism of this possibility over at another forum that I frequent. So that alone should tell you that this isn't likely to happen. I'll tell you what forum it is if you ask.
  3. One, most of those Fox execs who were able to snag the NFC from CBS are likely the ones who are staying at Fox. Most of the executives who are leaving for Disney will come from the entertainment side, many of whom weren't even there in 1993. Two, Even with Les Moonves gone, most CBS execs will for the most part still be there(like Sean McManus) when negotiations are ready to begin(and that would include executives from Viacom should they and CBS decide to re-merge). Third, I would actually be weary of a bid from one of the FAANG gang, as one of them could decide that if traditional TV is in a death spiral, they could go to the NFL with an offer they can't refuse and thus completely destroy what's left of traditional TV. That said, this idea of Disney bidding for an NFL package for ABC is just that, an idea. I would remain skeptical about an ABC deal for one of the Sunday packages until a bid happens.
  4. Both ABC and NBC are on with processional coverage.
  5. Only WCCO(CBS) in the Twin Cities is carrying the procession.
  6. FTR, New York's DMA is larger than the 77 smallest DMA's.
  7. Does anyone think that CBS gets shut down as a result of this?
  8. KVRR, the Fox station in Fargo preempted Morocco-Iran for 2 Broke Girls. Fox's Wyoming stations are preempting Portugal-Spain for The People's Court. At least KVRR put Morocco-Iran on their .2, can't say where Portugal-Spain went to in Wyoming,
  9. First it was the deal with ESPN+, now the linear side of ESPN is getting in to the UFC universe, as the WorldWide Monopolizer is signing a 5-year deal with UFC. http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/espn-adds-30-fights-to-ufc-tv-rights-deal-reaching-1-5-billion-value-exclusive-1202819447/
  10. Are there any affiliates of any network(other than Fox) that won't be airing the Royal Wedding?
  11. Anderson Cooper, Alysin Camerota and Max Foster will lead CNN's coverage from 5 AM-Noon. HLN will simulcast the coverage. Got this info per the DirecTV OSG.
  12. Might need to come up with a new name, like iHeartBankruptcy,
  13. Fox will simulcast NFL Network's coverage of the upcoming NFL Draft. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/14/draft-will-be-televised-by-fox/ First 3 rounds will be simulcast, with NFL Network and Fox talent involved. Saturday is strictly on NFL Network due to NASCAR commitments for Fox. All this per the New York Times.
