KEYE hasn’t aired Tamron at all this season … daytime or overnights. They replaced it in the 4p slot with Drew. I thought it might wind up on Nexstar’s KNVA (CW) or KBVO (MyTV), but nope. Sad the ratings weren’t better here … she’s from Luling in Caldwell County, which is in the Austin DMA.

I thought they did for a little while but I guess I was mistaken.

I'm looking for her to wind up on KVUE or those two aforementioned stations.

I missed this. And WCCB hasn’t updated their zap2it for September 6. I know Nick Cannon will be on at 4 so I’m thinking Drew will move to 2 and Ellen will move to 3. So not sure what will replace the CW Springer at 1.

I was fully expecting The Real and Wendy to go to 18 as well.

    WMYT changes starting September 6

Extra replaces Access Hollywood at 12:30pm

Dateline replaces Dr. Oz at 1pm (11am run remains on WJZY for now but I have a hunch this is where YBYL is going)

Dr. Oz replaces Kelly Clarkson at 3pm

Dish Nation moves over from WJZY, still at 1am, replaces an infomercial

Access Hollywood replaces an infomercial at 1:30am

No idea where Kelly Clarkson is going in Charlotte. The third season premieres that day.🤦🏼‍♂️

    Source: Zap2it

Looks like TMZ Live, People’s Court and Judge Mathis are staying on WJZY for yet another year as all those shows start new seasons that day. And the latter two keep their runs on WMYT. They need to just be on WMYT.

Clarkson is going to WCCB. Don't know what time she'll be on though.

New Anchor at KVLY-Fargo- Tom Tucker is being brought in from KESQ/Palm Springs. Current anchor Mike Morken is reducing his workload to just the 6:00 show. This part of the bio suggests he won't be here long...

"He has worked for several ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox television news affiliates in several markets around the country"

Let me try not to make the joke about a certain namesake of his.

  5. I had said earlier that this was about to happen but didn't want to post about it until I saw the promo.  KPXJ is doing a 3pm newscast beginning on the 16th.

Alex Anderson will anchor, Joe Haynes will be on weather and Julie Parr will handle the Texarkana reports along with additional reports chiefly from Brandy Campbell.  Anderson also anchors at 4pm and does sports at 6, 9 and 10.

I strongly doubt you'll see WYTV or KTKA going to Nexstar proper, given both are within the top-4 in their respective markets.

They could exercise the option and then reassign them to Mission, like they've done with the other former sidecars (Shield, Tamer, etc.)

On the other hand, KNVA (like WBDT) is not in the top-4. And because of the Pai Dereg Rule eliminating the eight-voice test, Nexstar could easily acquire KNVA outright. Also to keep in mind the FCC still treats KBVO Llano as a "satellite" of KXAN (even though it airs different programming).

Relating to Austin and how Nexstar got KXNW in Fort Smith, I wonder if Nexstar could use KCWX being technically licensed to the Austin DMA to acquire that outright and expand into San Antonio.

Nick Cannon's website now has show times.

Where and when it's airing in the top 10 markets:

    • New York - WNYW at 11:00a and WWOR at 12:30a
    • Los Angeles - KTTV at 3:00p and KCOP at 6:00p
    • Chicago - WFLD at 1:00p
    • Philadelphia - WTXF at 12:00p
    • Dallas-Fort Worth - KDFW at 1:00p and KDFI at 12:00a
    • San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose - KTVU at 11:00a, KICU at 9:00a
    • Atlanta - WPCH at 4:00p
    • Houston - KRIV at 11:00a and 2:00a
    • Washington, D.C. - Nowhere?
    • Boston - WHDH at 11:00a

I wish KABB would stop carrying talk shows in late night. First Tamron and now Nick.

Pretty sure they are…they have aired it at 5 since the beginning. But other than Drew and Ellen, they have mostly only had Maury, Wilkos and Jerry since getting the CW. They even had them when they had Fox. They had three runs of Maury for a while but cut one of them out this past year to make room for Drew.

No. KPXJ has Ellen as well.

I wonder when the acquisition of the Meredith stations goes through, if the existing Gray stations will pick up “People”? If they did, in the case of WBTV I can’t see them ditching or moving “On Your Side With Jamie Boll.” I suppose they could shorten “QC at 3” to 30 minutes but I don’t see a place for it on their schedule other than at 1:37 in the morning.

I would expect KSLA to do the same.

Someone posted the open for FL24 this weekend. I had no idea what it was but it appears to be their answer to CBSN local but statewide. Graphics are standard Scripps apart from the open, and it sounds like they got Stephen to make a custom theme.

PLEASE let this be an alternate music option for the Scripps stations.

I don't dislike the theme music they're using now but this is too good to only be for that news channel. It sounds like an extremely reworked and improved Guardian.

Moving the COL of WSWG to Moultrie actually assigns it to a city that's in the Albany market.  Valdosta is located in the Tallahassee - Thomasville market, the station itself used to be a semi-satellite of Tallahassee's WCTV (licensed to Thomasville) until it was spun off to Marquee in the Gray-Raycom merger.

I thought Valdosta was Jax. Unless I'm thinking of Waycross. Both share a PBS signal, so.
