  1. There are still more embarrassing things that NBC would have to resort to.
  2. And then Fox would end up on WHDH, making it truly Boston's reflection of WSVN. Worst case scenario, NBC has to lease a subchannel from WCVB.
  3. I stand corrected. But why not retain the inventory? Just my two cents.
  4. Maybe WUNI would inherit WBIN's syndicated shows and be sold to Hearst or Cox. Honestly, NBC should have made its move long before disaffiliating from WHDH. It could have bought WWDP, WMFP, or WBPX and been in a better position. But it wouldnt surprise me to see a full powered WBTS as the end game.
  5. I wonder which company is gonna buy KUBE now that the auction has come and gone without NRJ TV sellling jack. Tegna or Graham?
  6. That'd actually be better than this Litton Entertainment/Steve Rotfield crap they have on now. At the very least, put some entertainment into the shows. The only Saturday morning show I like on any of the broadcast networks is CBS' The Inspectors. At least they're somewhat trying to be entertaining. I understand this is a different era but still.
  7. What if two stations were in a CSA and one of the stations got sold into a duopoly with another station other than the one in the CSA? Would the FCC allow them to transfer to another partner?
  8. My bad. I was thinking Tribune was behind the programming for This. MGM aint gonna be around much longer anyway.
  9. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/sinclair-to-launch-kidsclick-multiplatform-programming-block-for-children-300449572.html I didn't know whether to post this here or in the Sinclair/Tribune thread but better safe than sorry. If this means what I think it means, then Nexstar and Fox need to step it up with their bids.
  10. 185 Nexstar stations? I thought it was less than that? Or did we miss something?
