Adam Caskey of WJLA/News Channel 8 is leaving for a job at KSAT in San Antonio. Caskey's last day at WJLA/NC8 will be April 18th.

Sean Maroney named weeknight anchor at NBC17/WNCN in Raleigh after filling in on an interim basis when Penn Holderness left the station for a job outside of TV.

 

Maroney joined WNCN in 2013 as a weekend evening anchor.

This happened a couple weeks ago, but Raleigh NBC affiliate WNCN launched an 11am newscast, however with this move, they dropped the 4:30am newscast.

 

Honestly, I'm surprised they took the 4:30am newscast away, seeing as they were the first in the market to launch it.
