It is interesting that no one from PIX comments here because so much of this "intel" was already widely known on the inside. I also wonder if some of the more hostile commenters are what used to be called "disappointed office seekers". The bitterness is acrid.

Mark Effron has finally left the building. With ratings going up and the anchor team settled in, you gotta wonder....is this the best time for fresh upheavals?

PIX bests WNBC and WNYW/Fox again during the admittedly not so important August sweeps. But still. Seems like a trend. The end of the Charlier/Carey regime is now visible to viewers at home.

Barmash's latest Tunedinnyc post about PIX is so weirdly bitter, like a mean girl Facebook post. Everybody's got an opinion, but he only seems to have one and it is getting a little weary.

I applaud their efforts. Anything beats that one anchor format and Mendte ranting every night. I see improvement.
