  1. They are now running a 24/7 Wheel of Fortune streaming channel on Pluto TV, so you'd think they'd now allow a second repeat airing of the show in syndication for stations that would be interested.
  2. I remember KCNC 4 in Denver used to be all news outside of NBC programming in the 90s. They went by KCNC--Colorado's News Channel. That changed when CBS took over the station and they added some syndicated programming to the schedule.
  3. Having at least one soap at least led viewers to NBC to see promos for other NBC shows in primetime and late night. Without Days, I won't be viewing anything on the local NBC station during the day anymore (or much at all). I'm sure many others won't be either. I have little interest in news programs and talk shows.
  4. Yes, I agree. I'd rather see our local NBC station air something else in the timeslot. I'm surprised it's not yet another hour of news with the Today Show branding...
  5. It’s the end of an era losing the last signature program of NBC’s daytime schedule. Days has aired at 1pm ET since January 1979 and on the network since 1965. I have watched Days since 2012. I’ll sure have no use for the local NBC station anymore. I barely do for their primetime shows.
  6. Frndly TV added Story TV today as well as MeTV. H&I, Decades, and Start TV will be added later in April. Frndly TV is available starting at 6.99 a month.
  7. I've never thought the two hour primetime rerun block was worth branding a whole station with the "My" designation. Some of the stations now delay the two hour block to later at night. I've never watched their programming.
  8. I think they'd do better to air the Judge Judy reruns. This just adds a fifth 4:00 newscast...
  9. It's boring with the same people on every newscast. I always liked how ABC 7 had different co-anchors on each newscast in the past years when I used to watch. All these stations have less programming and all newscasts, it's no wonder ratings are down and people don't care about watching local channels much anymore other than needing them to watch network programs in their area.
  10. Hearst stations could pick it up as a .3 channel. Most of their stations don't carry any other subchannels but MeTV on .2 currently.
  11. When does The Real return with new shows? That show always seems to have more repeats airing than new episodes, It takes long breaks in the Winter, Spring and Summer.
  12. I don't know why they continued to air Right This Minute all last season at 1:00pm...
  13. CBS owned stations don't carry more than one hour of the CBS Overnight News with a repeat of the CBS Evening News being used to replace part of the Overnight News. The overnight broadcast is just clips of the CBS Evening News anyway and isn't the original style broadcast they used to have with CBS News Nightwatch and Up to the Minute. They should do what NBC has with Early Today making the CBS Morning News available at 3:00AM ET so local stations can use it where they want and start newscasts as early as 4:00AM in some markets. ABC's America This Morning now airs at 3:30AM ET to allow stations to air local news at 4:00AM.
  14. Live with Kelly and Ryan is repeating now on ABC owned stations throughout the country as well as other ABC stations that carry the show. It looks like ABC World News Now is being reduced or completely pre-empted in favor of the Kelly and Ryan repeat. WABC New York and WPVI Philadelphia don't appear to be airing World News Now at all anymore. WABC now shows This Week with George Stephanopoulos airing late Sunday/early Monday instead and Tamron Hall through the week from 3-4AM.
  15. When did Action News start airing at 4am? I noticed they start at 4:00 now with ABC's America This Morning now at 3:30am.
  16. I was glad to see that the 11am news is back. It never should've left! Also, I think ABC 7 is smart to pass on Right This Minute for the 1pm timeslot. Whatever ABC comes up with for their O&Os fails (Katie, FabLife, etc). I wish they had kept One Life to Live...still miss that show a lot.
  17. The one to replace Linda at 4pm should have been Sylvia Perez! In fact, they should have Sylvia return and be on with Linda at 4pm to replace Alan.
  18. I am glad to see that Cheryl and Alan will have a regular newscast together. I would like to see Sylvia Perez return at 4pm and anchor with Linda, but I doubt that will happen with those in charge at ABC 7...I assume Hosea Sanders or Rob Elgas will get the spot.
