  1. Yessssssss!!!!!... Lol... I was literally just thinking about that exact scenario last light.... And yes 3K is much bigger...Still not as big as 6B but still bigger...Maybe MSNBC will use 3C once again.
  2. I'm wondering if with Sibila leaving, she might be in consideration to replace her... Dave Price was freelancing last summer and now he's full time... We'll see. I happen to know that this has no relation to the Sibila announcement yesterday.
  3. Stacey Bell back on News 4 NY now
  4. This actually doesn't suprise me... Once he was passed up for the 4pm and he's been around for 3 years already I felt his days were probably numbered...the big question is who will replace him... as nynewslover said a couple up, Wnbc needs a stable anchor or anchors for their midday newscast so this will help... David Ushery will probably take over Mon.-Fri. but who will be on the weekend evenings because they have no one I can think of to take over.
  5. Just throwing this out there.... Does anyone think that by September Wnbc will move their noon newscast to 11am and have a stable anchor team since they are now the only NBC o&o with a noon newscast and it's not like ratings are particularly strong at noon for them.
  6. I've noticed that too... It's hard for me to see them mess with the Matt/Savannah chemistry... I heard that after Natalie leaves there will be no replacement for her, the main 7-9am team will just be Matt, Savannah and Al.
  7. Bloomberg's Stephanie Ruhle joining msnbc as dayside anchor... doesn't say when or what time ... http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/stephanie-ruhle-leaving-bloomberg-for-msnbc/290269
  8. Just wanted to point out there was an interesting tidbit buried at the end of a NY post article about msnbc executives.... http://nypost.com/2016/03/15/msnbc-shuffling-execs-in-another-bid-to-fix-lousy-ratings/ At the end it says how msnbc made an offer to Keith Olbermann back I December but he turned it down because the money wasn't enough and they are still trying to work something out...
  9. Unless they return 5pm back to a full hour and David takes that over...would be interesting to see who takes Shiba's spot since she's leaving.
  10. In my opinion, the most likely person he will be paired with if wnbc keeps it inside would be Sibila...If they go outside it's anyones guess.
  11. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/2/5/look-which-ny-anchor-is-interviwing-in-chicago-today Well this is not too surprising...my thought is that maybe with the new 4pm newscast this spring wnbc dosent plan to have Shiba as an anchor for that...they've been phasing her out for a few years now. P.S....Pat Battle and Gus Rosendale should be the 4pm anchor team, I think they're great together on the weekends.
  12. The thing is that msnbc might have been forced into announcing something they're not ready to announce...fortunately for them alsmost 24 hours later it doesn't seem that many outlets have picked up on this story so they're off the hook... also normally tv stagings send out a press release first then stack up on staff second.
  13. http://www.mediaite.com/online/nbcu-is-hiring-for-a-new-msnbc-primetime-show/ The most likely candidate at this time would be Olbermann based on past reports, also... This better be on purpose because if not NBC has created a serious PR problem they now have to deal.
  14. Does anyone know where Sibila Vargas has been...seems she's been off since before thanksgiving and hasen't tweeted since Nov. 23rd...Just seems a little strange she's been off for over 3 weeks...Maybe she's out for personal reasons?
  15. Jose Diaz Balart anchoring the Saturday edition tonight.
  16. Ok how do we feel about this?... http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2015/11/msnbc-in-talks-with-bloomberg-to-re-air-john-heilemann-mark-halperin-show-216069
  17. I hear that MSNBC is thinking of doing a political round table show Weeknights at 6pm... She would be a natural fit for that.
  18. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/source-diaz-balart-to-remain-on-msnbc-weekdays-but-loses-2nd-hour-of-the-rundown/ Update from Joe Concha... Looks like Tamron anchoring from 10am-12pm is false...He is saying the schedule will now look like this... Morning Joe 6-10am The Rundown with Jose Diaz Balart 10-11am NewsNation with Tamron Hall 11am-12pm...and so on.

  20. I've noticed that they haven't really been using the set as the opening background anymore, instead just using the windows...maybe some changes related to that...such as new backgrounds and maybe even a new desk.
  21. Did they say why Dave Price was on? Or is this a one time thing.
  22. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/rumors-about-josh-elliott-in-talks-with-gma-are-completely-false/
  23. The announcement is comming today ... http://www.mediaite.com/tv/exclusive-more-msnbc-changes-coming-with-three-shows-out-hard-news-and-chuck-todd-back/
  24. Yes, he is on CNBC weekdays from 9-12pm (I think)... But he also fills in on NBC, usually on weekends.
  25. Carl Quintanilla anchoring tonight
