Interesting. So I’ll assume anyway it’ll be Airinee and him at 4 and 5 then Shirley and Kori at 6 and 10?

That’s my guess as well. Hopefully he lasts longer than he did at WFOR.

Did anyone watch the streaming to see if they ran it? I didn't see any mention of it when they signed off just before 7am. They did start at 4:30, but made no mention of the later start time. And amusingly, WABC started their news at 4am on Tuesday because of the weather.

I wasn’t able to catch it. Surprised they didn’t add “Today in New York @7am continues on our streaming platforms” after the “That’s what’s happening Today in New York” close.

A shocker. RIP Steve. You will be forever missed. Grew up with him, Dan Lewis, Kathi Goertzen 😭

Same. Grew up watching them, as well as Jean, Dennis, Jeff & Lori over on KING and Steve, Susan, Harry & Tony over on KIRO.

When that day comes, a Joe & Sandra team would fit perfectly on the weekday. But what about Sade?

    Noon David & Liz

    4 David & Sade

5 Liz & Sade (dual female like when Diana was there)

    6/11 Joe & Sandra

They absolutely will not pull Sade from the 11 pm unless she wants to stop doing the 11 pm, and I don’t see that happening for several years.

So I guess it varies by station.

For years all 3 aired an hour long 5 pm show, then national news at 6 and then 30 minutes of local 630-7. KING is the only one to retain that schedule.

Nah, I think the primary "West Coast edition" feed of the national shows is still at 5:30pm PT. For a long time, only the LA market aired the national shows in the East Coast-style 6:30pm timeslot, but it's kindof all over the place now. However, if you look around markets out West, the hour-long 6:00pm show (with national news at 5:30) is still pretty commonplace.

Probably Fred since it's already been established he was hired as an evening anchor.

Fred will co-anchor at 6, 7 & 11 pm. No word on who will co-anchor at 5 pm.

So it’ll be Tony & Jumi in AM, Leon & Eun at 4&6, and Jim & Shawn at 5&11? Surprised they don’t just rotate anchors for the 11am and keep Erika on weekends.

    Jummy & Melissa Mollett 4-5a

    Jummy & Tony 5-7a

    Erika 11a

    Eun & Leon 4p

    Shawn & Leon 5p

    Eun & Jim 6p

    Shawn & Jim 11p

I was just going to @FiveNews because he may be right. When I’ve tuned in at 11 and Chuck isn’t there, it’s generally Robert filing in. I’m just not a fan of his style. I doubt they’ll move up the weekday morning guy after all those Lynnette related promos. The weekend evening guy, his name escapes me, but he is good, but also an unlikely move. There aren’t too many males there now that I’m thinking of it.

Jonathan Gonzalez. Unconventional but could Carolyn add 11 pm duties in addition to her 4 & 6 pm schedule?

They also gave Patrick Healy a highly publicized signoff as well. My bet is Robert Kovacik takes over for Chuck Henry. Can't see Brownlee moving up to the big chair.

They pulled Robert off weekend anchoring duties a few years back so I doubt he will get the main anchor chair.

Here's her tweet. She says NBC News.

    Dosen't say anything about WNBC.

What would she anchor tho? Really no spot for her unless she’s joining NBC News now as an anchor and just hasn’t mentioned it.
